Rapier for Windwalkers

Rapier for Windwalkers

In the newest versions of DOTA
where there is no Aegis anymore.

Do you think that Divine Rapier is a good
item for windwalkers?
(e.g. Nerubian Weaver, Bone Fletcher . . .)

I don't think so cause if they see you divine rapier then they'll just gank you and thats a waste of effort. I'd rather make a butterfly for windwalkers

i never had divine rapier as a MUST item in my shopping list... i don't need it it's money wasting and it drops.. i only buy it when my teammates quit and then i sold all their items instead and bought a divine with rylai! ^_^

yes buying divine is good on heroes w/ WW though i'll bet that the enemy will buy a gem just to find you so they will get the divine you farmed heavily for.
heroes blessed with windwalk has definitely low HP, so, when a tank w/ a stun has a gem and a heavy nuker at his side, it's no use fighting back, except if you'll allow your divine to be lost..

Nah.. Divine Rapier without Aegis is too risky.

Windwalkers are easily countered anyway..

So much for Divine-dependent carry builds.

Solong Rhoshan is pretty easy now and since the new agies is drop able you could pass the agies to a potential Rapier carrier like Clinx.

Yee.Kill roshan thats all.If they know you are going to kill Roshan and they come all to kill you It would be like Roshan is helping...XDlol

A few of hereos can solo Rhoshan now at lvl 11 and I don't think they'll rush to rhoshan's place when 1 or 2 heroes are missing. You don't bring the entire team Rhoshaning he's not that strong anymore.

Nope, i think there's some more better item than Aegis.

If it happens you get ganked and Aegis drops, the game pace will change.

I'm not a fan of Rapier.

Clinkz Wind Walk adds Movement Speed too.

If it happens your smelling a GangBang, just wind walk then Run.

But he's nothing with Balanar with a GOTS.

Easy he has 80% attack speed increase skill and wind walk which is very useful especially when you backdoor.

Rapier is kinda meh now since there's no Aegis. No one can really hold a Rapier now, unless fed and has tons of Hearts and survival items. On heroes, there really is no one that can hold it effectively. Everyone can be countered easily. True Sight > Gem, Necrobook/Manta > Leoric, hmm, perhaps blink is the only one not truly counterable, but there's always disables. Unless you fed him also a BKB <.<

Honestly, I've NEVER been fond of teh rapier ever since I've started playing Dota. Killing peoplez with Radiance WITHOUT actually hitting them is the best way to kill 'em XD
