1.Is it rationale to kill Roshan for aegis during midgame?
2.Should you get Divine RApier after that with only 1 aegis charge?

if there arent many stunners/disablers on the enemy team.. go for it. If you l ose the last charge, drop the divine near your base, or hide it in trees. Atleast, until you get another charge that is. Or if your confident enough, go all out without an aegis. Have an ally prepare a slot. lol

Actually.. Roshan is just for gold now lol.

Aegis.. 1 charge, no other bonuses.. Good as a game-breaker.

@sprite0153 - Divine is undroppable on version .41 and older. Sheez.

@Shadowinks - You can go for Roshan alone....at midgame using:

-Ulfsaar
-N'aix
-Alchemist??
-Any hero with permabash

Divine Rapier is INDEED droppable, ever since Aegis was made to be a Roshan drop

It's not really a good idea to kill Rhoshan just for the gold, a tower is a much better choice but Rhoshaning mid game can be a good idea for an Ageis and you could just leave the agies in the base if your still preparing for your divine rapier.

when lvl 8-9 is best to hunt roshan since the gold and aegis can change the tide of war,usually most ppl do so in mid game since different than tower,it attacks are not very strong when the 1st time you face him so its best to do so and collect aegis

hmmm.. use Goblin Techies and plant mines near roshan..
when your enemy's try's to kill Roshan.. Detonate.. XD
Then kill Roshan and get The aegis...

But me.. i hate buying Divine even if i have an aEGIS..

I think they did this to prevent players from buying Divine Rapier!!

WHY?

We all know the combo.. Divine Rapier + agies = GG

I've even seen players buy the items for a hero early/mid game (like for a blood seeker) and let the hero solo the enemies base.

Sad

So by doing this they make players revert to getting thier own items and evening out the game without using such lame tactics!

well dr and aegis were hard to farm for, and the other team should be smart enough to prevent that from happening. and yes aegis is worth it anytime

meh, the aegis is practically useless. many heroes get it but they wind up dying and then dying again after they respawn. i think roshan should be killed only during late game

For me, DR and Aegis are great for late game monsters such as Faceless Void, Jahrakal, Naix etc etc. But IMHO Divine Rapier is a waste of money for other heroes because if the other team sees you having a DR and an Aegis, they'll just gank you twice if your not careful.

I think Aegis IS not useless.. IT's A nice Item..
No need To wait FoR you To revive.. Especially When Your Base or TeaMmaTes Are in Trouble..
