i wonder wht will happend with dr and aegis in the versions 2 come i hope it becomes undropable when you die imagine wht tht would do...practically every1 would get it but itd probly cost more =P

Roshan LvL1 can be solo by witch doctor as well. Have it LvL4 Voodoo + Soul B. + Eul (for mana regen purposes) Although it takes some time (5mints?) Trust me, try it Wink

Now your team should kill Roshan whenever possible. For gold and Exp.

AEGIS OF IMMORTAL? An important item in the game?
Where is it now? What happened to that item? Why is it remove in the game? Disappointed

Can somebody tell me why is it removed in the shops?

uhhh... roshan should be taken out asap. period. as soon as your strong enough, do it. as a team or solo. Surprised

The aegis has not been removed, just radically changed. No longer providing magic resistance or armour, it now protects against death and death alone. It is acquired by defeating Roshan, who now drops his shield.

@topic:
The guy above me has it right. Roshan is easy to kill at almost every stage of the game, provided you are decently farmed, and the money and aegis is way too good to pass up. I wouldn't take the divine rapier unless you can get it early or you already have items such as HoT, Butterfly, Cuirass.

It means that theres no more aegis. It made a big difference. that ank is useless and gives no boost to stats nor skills. It is only good in early games and savin ur money. But the last Aegis is much better. What was the real reason that they removed aegis in shops??

It sucked when they changed aegis, it was basically split into the hood of defiance and vanguard. The 1 charge won't do much, if you die once, most likely you'll die again. Maybe they changed it because it became imba as the game developed.

They changed Aegis to a droppable item, and 1 charge only, because is somebody like Mortred or Sven gets a Divine an Aegis(3 Charges), its very unlikely for the opposition to win. So giving Roshan the Aegis was a great idea IMHO. Makes the game balanced.

IMBA?? actually in dota league it was obvious someone always uses DR and aegis and icefrog thought it was imba! So he remove aegis from the game. I dont know that person. But that was the cause why aegis is remove.

Divine + Aegis combo is IMBA for certain heros previously, especially hero with critical, althought hard to farm but it is not impossible; that's why Aegis is being changed to a item dropped by Roshan.

The new Aegis is still good actually, especially when both team are equally matched. Aegis really can turn the tide of a battle from the instant revive.
