Dota In Wikipedia!?

Dota In Wikipedia!?

When I searched in google for "Dota Roshan" I found an Article in wikipedia, I clicked on it and guess what I've saw!

I tried to click google and see if I find the site again. Later I tried to get in the normal freewebs, search, Dota, and the normal article was there. So I searched in google for Dota Roshan again, clicked on same site and the article was longer there. I may be noob so I don't know, Does Wikipedia normaly jokes with similar articles?

U haven't understood the concept of Wikipedia. Everybody can write what they want but unserious things will be removed. Like the one u saw, didn't stay for long.

Oh.. So you can write an article yourself? Later the old one will be removed until the "Adminstrator" thinks the old one was better?

Also, there are a lot of people who desecrates different wiki articles. It's a very normal event in wikipedia.

Nah this is an edited image wikipedia cant have words like crap or stupid.Look at the toolbar and u will realize that it could be an edited image.

LOL makes you wonder about how close to the truth wikipedia is sometimes? the wowwiki looks pretty cool. Great idea behind the whole thing though. They must appoint moderators to wiki and have them sit alday cross-reference the stuff:-P

havent you realized wkikipedia is the free encyclopedia... its an encyclopedia with almost everything thats anything is in it and dota isnt nothing because dota is realy somthing..........

Yeah, but in some aspects you may find that Wikipedia is actually more accurate than your run-of-the-mill encyclopedia. Sure, people often vandalize articles, but usually the staff is on top of it and its gone within a couple hours, and sometimes as soon as 5 minutes. Usually things that have been vandalized are obvious, unless you're a complete moron and could concievably be fooled into believing that D-Day was an epic showdown between storm troopers and Chuck norris and that it had anything to do with Naruto, which they have undoubtedly decided to express their approval of in their midget-minded enterprise.

Wikipedia is, contrary to most people's accusations, less biased than any other encyclopedic sources because everybody has a say. Bias is always present, but the most effective way in nulling it is to balance it with the bias of all sides of the argument.
