I'm not really sure but I think it lessens the dammage or something..

I MEAN IF U HAVE AN ARMOR OF ABOUT PLUS 10, AND U ARE HIT BY 300DMG. WHAT WILL BE THE ACTUAL DAMAGE.THNX

Please avoid writing in all caps. Yes, armor reduces damage alright, what else for? Smile

Armor blocks damage both from physical attacks and magic spells. The amount of armor depends on your base armor plus armor from items, auras and agility. It's tough to give an exact calculation, so I won't pretend that I know. But if you place your mouse over the armor icon while playing, you'll see the percentage of how much damage your armor can block. So let's say you have an armor of 10 and you can block %30. That means when you're hit with 300 damage, you absorb 210 instead.

I myself have no idea about the percentage increase when it comes to armor but the most important rule is once you pass the 50% mark buying a lot more armor for it is not worth it since you may only get a small increase like say 10 more additional armor will only get you a 3% increase or something.

Yeah, it's really tough. Consider this. When Omniknight casts Guardian Angel, everyone in his team within the AOE gets +1000 armor. And you'd think that will be enough to be invulnerable. But think again. It can block just 99% of damage, meaning you can still be killed. A teammate of mine who was on the brink of death was so sure he couldn't be touched. But he was dead wrong.. in the literal sense.

Guardian Angel should be modified so that instead of giving +1000 armor, it should just convert the armor type to divine.

How about if guardian angel is changed with borrowed time to all within AoE? Hahaha... Batalyon invulnerable army.
