Dota Sound Bytes ie. "first blood"

Hey, I have a problem. I've just transferred dota onto my computer but for some reason, it won't play the "first blood" or "unstoppable or whatever when i make them. I was wondering what sound configurations i should have for them to play. Any help or suggestion you have would be greatful. Thanks.

check the options in gameplay then music Smile

or if that is not the problem maybe your speakers/headphones is on mute Laughing

Check your sound card. Maybe the version isn't compatible with the sound files.

well if it helps, my sound settings are all on except movement sounds. i have a sneaky suspicion that it would've been fixed by toggling with subtitles but that didn't work. i'm outta ideas. should maybe reinstall FT.
