When is the rapier valid for use?

I can't take any of yr options. Here's the reason:

Some heroes just get deadly when they have it. And some just can't use +250 dmg to the fullest. It's not meant for every hero, nor should u think that u buy it just because there's nothing better to buy.

EG if u get aegis this item is extremely gd for mortred. Her criticals will be very deadly. But heroes like rylai don't benefit from it. She attacks so slow, i don't think that 250 dmg will get her anywhere. Don't buy it just because u feel like it. For one, u can't sell it (it hasn't any value). And getting DR on an unsuitable hero esp. makes u the prime target of ganks throughout the game, making u very unsafe. Others items like hearts can boost survivability, so why not invest yr cash in that? Or at least save that money so that if u die, u can buy yr hero to life.

The Divine Rapier is the perfect item for the Skeleton King. Works with all his moves. High crits, lifesteal, and reincarnation. Watch my Skeleton King replay for proof that this item is amazing on him.

depends on waht hero IMO. dont get it on kardel with no hearts or anything. getting it on faceless might be a good idea because he can timewalk and if needed ult and run. but dont be stupid and die with it O.O

Well.. if you can't think of any nice item to buy for you're hero..
And you think that all of his 5 Items are powerful.
