some people might disagree with me but I like to buy Boots of speed with bloodseeker at the start. why? well, I stay close to my ranged creep, and when I see a dying creep, I quickly run to him and get the last hit, and bloodbath is enough regen to endure those pesky nukers. Also, normally I play 4x4 ap, and usually go -random, so I start with enough gold to buy not only boots, but also tangoes or maybe branches.. but of course depends on your heroes and enemies heroes

Hmm.. I would probably go for some more damage to get the last hits more often. Of course I typically stay a little closer to the action so that I can get the deny and the last hits, then I just ignore the enemy unless he has truely heavy nukes or stuns. So while boots may help with the running in for a last hit I find it easier to be there right in the action with higher damage to ensure you get it.

If you're planning to get three wraith bands on a ranged agility hero:
3 slippers, 1 tango, and 1 branch is a great way to go IMO. If you need more regen stuff, get your (shared) chicken to bring some. ^_^

You get a lot of extra damage to last hit more easily and harass more effectively with it! ^u^

When I'm planning to get nulls/bracers/wraiths I almost always grab the item that nets me the attack damage earlier, e.g. on QoP I'll get mantle, but on Lion I'll get circlets because I'm getting bracers.

what if, you somehow know ur enemy is jugg and u get boots so he cant chase you dont? =D

well, if you can predict that stuff then you should know everything that is happening and how to counter it

getting boots to counter a 1/3 chance of laning against juggs is bad, just get your regular items and if he does lane against you, tower hug so if he tries to kill you the tower will kill him first

On the other hand boots maybe good for orb walks and shadow walks
Some heroes soloing a lane such as nightstalker can get boots (providing he dosent die)

The leftover money still gives you enough for tangoes

But i prefer masssing the primary attribue item etc slipper of agi
Its really handy =)

i always start with a courier and 4 iron woods.
then farm for bottle for nuker/spammer.
SnY/Rads/butterfly/MKB/BF.
then boots.

What about just a ring of health? 875, attainable if you random and then go to a side shop, many heroes like maganataur, skeleton king.... anyone who wants to get a bf and others benefit from this
