Hah this guide is so true. I was just in a game where 3 noobs bought boots and a healing salve. Guess which 3 heroes left at the 5 minute mark?

just a simple question.. ? How about bottle instead of tangoes? I mean the +mana and +hp is reasonable especially for INT HEROES?

Bottle is needed mostly for gangs.. if you're pudge or mirana, get bottle at lvl 6-7 .. but for lane control tangos rule of course it depends what are you facing.. if you face harasser like viper or clinkz scout shiled asap... if you play BS or whatever melee hero - 2 x tangos + 3 IW branches + 1 quelling blade from the shop.. but everything depends on the situation Smile

my standart start is courier.
wheni have the 600 gold i will buy bottle and let courier bring it to me. too many people start with bottle first.

2x clarities
3x branches
Wand recipe

Thats my usual starting build in side lanes. Otherwise it's;

2x tangos 3x branches 1x clarity 1x magic stick.

IDK, I like getting a magic wand on pretty much every hero, everytime.. It's a lifesaver and a killgetter Very Happy

I think you forgot to add this:

2x Slipper/Mantle/Gauntlet + 2x Ironwood Branch

This is the carry/farm build which is mainly used in competetive for farm/carry heroes and works alot Smile

Bottle first is terrible... what if the enemy team has wards, and gets runes every time due to the wards, and you're stuck with an empty bottle unless you know how to bottle crow well, if you and your team refuse to buy a crow, you may as well quit DotA Laughing

Well, Boots w/ tangos is good for Barathrum for its SUPER SPEED and SUPER DAMAGE!
i really don't have a hard time for the cow's survivability...
