Bladefury makes you immune to spells so they can't nuke you and creeps wont attack you as long as you don't click on the enemy hero. If the enemy hero decides to fight you he'll take up more damage from getting hit by bladefury.

(I was mistaken the video shows Pugna and faceless in the lane against yunero)

starting items? i go for gg branch they are cool and cheap stats for an item. 57 gold anyway for stats that so much important on early games than doing anything called regen items that maybe sometimes does'nt worth from other characters. Almost all heroes are dependent on stats on early games. GG branch is the answer.

One thing that wasn't mentioned here. In ap games if you random or in ar games, you often have enough gold to buy stat-specific items (gauntlets, slippers, mantles) to combine with circlets. I love going for first blood with an agi-boosted weaver myself (2x circlet, 2x slipper, 2x tango. But with many heroes i buy the ingredients for bracers, wraiths, or nulls as my first items, then round it out with a couple tangos.

Am I making a mistake?

i always get a chicken as a first item along with tangoes. then goes after the main items like boots and bla bla.....

Well....I'm surprised you didnt mention the flasks of sapphire water....
They are WAY more useful than tangos and they only cost like 20 more gold or so....
Plus, the only downside i can think of is they go away when hit but that should only happen against a ranged hero and even so you can stay away from his range...and when you come back you have your hp bar full and if not very close to...

Tangooes isn't supposed to replace flask, it's supposed to replace RoR. I somethimes get flask when if I have a chicken, I tell my chicken to buy a flask and bring it to heal me.

OMG can you believe it? The new map is out! And in the changelog it says flasks now heal for 10 secs instead of 20. Although i don't know if it still heals for the same amount, this means flask are now very viable, perhaps even more than tangos. Oh, did i mention that tangos now cost 90?
