I played 6.44 a few times just now. Yes, flasks still heal 400 hp, but now its only 10 secs. Tangoes seem to be dwarfed very much by this buff to flask. Also chicken does not require boots to be upgraded to courier. Check the changelog for more details.

GG branch is helpful alot in early game. also circlets and few tangoes.

I rather not complete a bracer, wraith band, or null unless I really need the extra slot. Completing a bracer/wraith/null only gives you an additional of +1 to all stats for 100+ gold.

abuse the number of additional item slots as much as possilbe is what I do always

@topic
is stout shield also advisable to get? especially in -ar/-random where you get more gold than -ap

Only if plan to tank creeps early like Axe, otherwise I suggest you rush RoH if the purpose of stouts was to build up Vanguard.

i only pick stout shield when i will upgrade it to vanguard, krobelus can outlast you if used properly during early game...i like RoR if i will use mekansm...nyweiy i agree with branches especially with heroes with low starting stas...

basically...you get 500 at starting(if you play 5 v 5)
so let see....branch cost 57 and one mantle of intel/gauntlet of strenght/slipper of agi cost 150 and the item +3 for all the atribute cost 185.. thus 3 branch coz only 171....it worth it and you still got 329 gold to waste...depend your hero....i usually buy 2 pot of calrity(100) and 2 tango thus you still got 69 gold left...it up to you either but a clarity or branch(i opt branch since it increase stat)

if it's 5 vs.5 -ar, I think it's 750, so some extra items will halp I think, like RoR

I think now that flasks are strong healing items, consider buying 1 or 2 if you have more money, along with 2/3 sets of tangos. Flasks are really good now if you face a difficult lane.

thwe best item now is the bottle,it can regen hp and mp 100 3 time,useful to low mana hero Smile

If you are a bottle-viable hero and it's not -np mode, yes it's the best thing you can get.

A Courier, few tangoes and brances is still the best. Nothing beats this starting build.
