When playing INT heroes, is it ok if you start of with Tangoes and then slowly buy a Point Booster? And is it ok to get a Dagon right at the start in a 1 on 1?

for me getting dagon early is not a good idea, but if you're planning on early kill or nuking you can go for it, but make sure it's enough and your mana is enough
also getting regen will be better than getting a point booster

In 1 vs 1 games I enjoy rushing dagon especially if my hero has a nuke, most 1 vs 1 games last only a few minutes since most opponents leave after dieing a few times.

i find that RoR x 2 works quite well.. but thats only viable if you random..
and despite what everyone tells me, bane does not need more than 2 clarities and a chicken until he is level 7 ^^
but yes there are only 2 heroes that need Boots namely: Techies and yurnero
potential boots if you have an ally with RoB is Crystal Maiden

I guess if you can farm, go for a ROH.
If the hero is a range one, then perhaps can increase life or damage by buying bracer or wraiths.

In 1v1, I usually go for heart(well, especially for strength types) or maelstrom(really depends on the hero) then just go last-hit and deny for total insult!
In 5v5, I buy 1 courier, a pair of tangos(2 charges in 80g) and the rest are ironwoods/circlets

I also like to go with boots on Spiritbreaker. Since his attack is directly effected by his MS, boots to start, and when you can, upgrading to treads helps him deal damage. Either that, or I've been using Headdress of Regeneration as my starting item in 5v5 (have to wait a little while after the creeps are out, but it's like 10 seconds) the added HP regen for me and my lane partner usually is a nice benefit.

i would prefer b.o.speed and glove oh haste at an early game.....
