What to get as a starting item

NO WAI.. if you want better farming, get bracers if you are a str hero, wraiths if you are an agi hero, or nulls if you are an int hero for the extra damage.

or stick to some circlets or branches and mix it up with some concentration for better last hits/denying. you should rely on your skills for last hitting and denying, not on items, really.

you can't get boots + gloves in 5v5 or 4v4 early, it costs a total of 1k

I maostly get TP and Circlet,2 branches, 2 tangoes. Most of our 5vs5 games are AR so we get around 700 I think?

i usually get ..

1 chicken
2 ironwood branches
2 set of tangoes

buying chicken is a great help for u and ur teammates cuz it will lessen the time u will go back to the base to regen hp and buy items ... the chicken can do the buying and healing for u .. ^_^ and tangoes and branches will help u survive through battle

Ok, I only read one page of comments but as this included the main topic by fwii~ I think this is enough.

From what I can tell, theres really no way to list all starting item builds. It depends on the mode, whether you picked randomed or repicked your hero, and what shop you're using (because if you go to the Secret Shop for a Void Stone you have more money before you need to get to the lane, similarly with the new SS).

Personal opinion, I think only Techies and Juggernaut should start with Boots. And what I usually do for randoming a hero is either RoB + RoR, or RoR + 2xCirclet + 2xIronwood; picking a hero I generally get RoR + 2xIronwood + 2xTango; but thats just what suits me. Everyone has different builds.

it would be best for FV to have 2 gauntlets and stout shield first and some tangoes.. these are the best beginning items for him.
