Who plays diablo here??
..who do you think is the best character for you in diablo 2?

diablo 2 rawks!!...it was a good game..i wonder why the diablo franchise stopped??...
on the ttopic..i think druid and the necromanser are the strongest...necro is my favorite though...

Player VS monster = Necromencer is the best
Player VS Player = Barbarian / Socceress is the best

Necromencer, best summons, best buffing skills. There are 2 types of Necro playing style:
1. First will be the most common Summon/Bone skill Necro, easiest to use but kind of boring. Uses revives as your wall, cast bone spear and bone spirit then corpse explosion all the way. Only uses 2 main curses, amplify and iron maiden. Best hireling is soccerer(cold) from Kurast in order to fight against magic + physical immue unique monster.
2. Second would be the infamous Summon/Curse skill necro, tough to train but works best on multiplayer game & it's fun to use. Use summons as wall, and cast different curses depends on the monster you are facing. ONLY uses corpse explosion as support damage. Best hireling same as above.

Personally i prefer socceress. More fun to play, and won't have a hard time playing against Hell level monster since monster are capped at max of 2 immunity.

I hear rumor that Blizzard is going to stop the production of Diablo, which means there won't be anymore Diablo 3 unless they came out with a new type of play style i think. Let's just hope for the best. o_O

Actually Blizzard created Diablo 3, but they didn't like it in the end,'coz they wanted it to be a MMORPG.Brobably because of WoW Diablo III was never released.

i think the best dueler at high levels is either a palidin or a barbarin.

but the one thats best for finding good items is the sorceres

Nah, the best for finding good items is still Barbarian due to his Find Item skill, which in turn effectively doubled the chance to get a good items. Also, due to the fact that only barbarian can equipped 2 2-H sword at the same time (where by only 2-H weapon have 6 sockets which can be used to put in runes which add to magic find), Barbarian can usually achieve higher Magic Find percentage than other characters.

Hmm.... never heard about that. But i do hope Diablo 3 will be produced, but don't even want to think how long i'll have to wait. I love this game toooo much.

I used to play this for 4 years(count them) till i got warcraft. Still i finished the game on hell with sorceress and with everyone else till nightmare Act IV. Killed diablo

for me barbarian is teh best i kill baal and it didn't almost damage me except for his summons

the final summon form baal is stronger than baal himself, well baal is easier than diablo

Well ya. Technically speaking, Baal ought to be stronger than Diablo and he is. Nut by the time you reach Baal, he seems much weaker than Diablo because you are now better equipped, better leveled etc. So, Baal becomes easier than Diablo. I remeber i was so afraid of facing Baal as Diablo himself had been so strong. I gave it my best dhot but then i realizerd it did not require my best shot and easily pawned Baal.

diablo II was actually the first game i ever played on my pc. Cool indeed. and i also found a character editor program which enabled me to cruise through the game easily. i remember my favorite character was the druid, and the skill was the strong wind that goes around him (forgot the skill name). He just runs around, and the monsters that go near him seem to 'automatically die'.
I have also tried playing Diablo I. but all i did was to duplicate the stat-improving pots to finish the game easily...
however, the ending was disgusting. when the last boss dies (is it mephisto) he just dances, the screen fades to black and goes to the main menu immediately

I have all 7 heroes at lvl99(nope,not a hero editor).I downloaded a MOD for d2 and the exp gain is insane,monsters throw unique and set items.(mostly bosses).
