I don't think any one has asked this one yet, at least I didn't find a thread.

So, how does damage return exactly work? Centaur's skill just deals x damage (physical?), but how about f.e. Blademail? Is the 20% calculated straight from the incoming damage or is the armor reduction done first? Also, if you stack Blademails, how is the amount of return dmg calculated? For 2 Blademails, is it just plain 40% dmg return or is it 36% (say that incoming dmg = 100. First return 20% and then from the remaining 80 dmg return 20% more = 36% total)? Or is it something else? Not that it really matters but I'm just curious

Blade mails stack directly so 2 blade mails will give 40% and 6 will give 120% return damage. The return damage of blade mail is considered spell damage so it can be blocked by black king bar. As for centaur's Return it returns 50 physical damage at level 4 but since the returned damage is physical it can be reduced by armor.
