"A Potion of Madness", Lesale Deathbringer's Story

-PROLOGUE-

Antoine de Lesale was once, a model for many as a man of responsibilty, intelligence, cunning, and diligence. Indeed, he was a person to be admired. His inventions are of pure creativity and worth. Thousands of people buy his potions daily. Some are cures for diseases, some to prolong life. Every single one never failed to work. He could not count the many golden gifts he recieved from the greatest of kings. He could not count the many recognitions he'd been given. Truly, he never let anyone down.

But... it was only once...

You see, everything has a dark side. While some have cruel, murdering visions of others, Antoine had an addiction to his work. He would usually work until the break of day just to finish his new creation. He wanted everything to be perfect. Not a dent of error in a single one. He was a perfectionist.

Everything was going well until a scientist named Evono Mendez overthrew every single one of his creations. More people came to buy his potions than Antoine's. Jelousy threw him away. He lost his money and his fiancee. He lost everything.

There... there he lost his mind.

-CHAPTER 1-

He decided he wanted to kill Mendez, along with his creations to bring back his riches. Yes, he would kill him.
There at that point he became addicted to poison. He studied day and night. He experimented with everything. He experimented with himself. His desperation took hold of him, strangling him as if commanding him something vile and evil. His face grew older along with his madness. He had no control with himeself.

It was on midnight when he sneeked through Mendez' house. He was astonished to how big it was. It was even bigger than his house. [i]Just like his creations to mine[/i], he thought. He became even more angrier. He realized he wanted more than kill him, he wanted to decapitate him, to enjoy every torment he would give him. [i]He was a boastful, greedy and unforgiving man[/i], he thought, [i]He does not deserve to live.[/i]

-CHAPTER 2-

What Mendez saw at the foot of his bedroom door horrified him. The very person of Antione de Lesale was inside such a terrifying monster. Horrible, but Antoine de Lesale was even more shocked by what he saw. Sleeping with his very enemy was his fiancee, the very one he loved. He never thought the one she loved was that traitorous. Now he thought, he should kill them both.

"Wait! take her not me!", the old fool said. "I will kill her too, after i kill you.", said Lesale. Taking a step back, Mendez said, "Why? why me?". With such rage the monster replied, "YOU TOOK EVERYTHING FROM ME! Even the one i loved...", he marched closer. Priscilla, Antoine's former fiancee, gaped in horror as the monster spew and smeared poison acid all over Mendez. She could hear every torment the man has to endure. Then, what was left of Mendez was an ooze of green. Lesale loomed closer to Priscilla.

-CHAPTER 3-

"Please forgive me, Antoine!". Priscilla cried as hard as she could, plead as convincing as she can but Antoine ignored her pleas. "You slept with that bastard. You replaced him for ME!. You will die...", Lesale mockingly laughed. Even his voice is irrecognizable. She neared him an hugged him, crying and whispering the words, "Forgive me.". She felt something hot on her skin. She realized she was embracing a man of poison and acid. She drew back. Her arms and face were bubbling from the acid. Smoke rose up like she was being fried. She felt the most agonizing pain in her life.

"You should have hugged me more if you really loved me, but your lust for money will kill you.", Lesale said. "No, please don't do this!", Prscilla cried out. "What's a better name honey, Lesale Venomancer or Lesale Deathbringer?", the monster ignored her. He spewed all of his hatred unto her, leaving her as a pile of flesh and bones. "Lesale Deathbringer is better.", he finally said. He walked out of the home with much anger and hatred.

-EPILOGUE-

Lesale Deathbringer ran far from the town and into the dark forests. He brought with him the burdens he left behind. Thinking that he had no other purpose, he sat by the trees to enjoy nothing more than watch the stars of the night. The silent breeze of the air gave him much comfort. Then while he is taking time to loosen his burdens, a dark figure approached him. "What you did was... impressive.", he said. "Well, thank you. But that's all there is.", Lesale said. He gave a laugh. "Oh there is much more to what you can do. Follow me. Let me teach you how", the figure said. "I don't have a purpose anymore. I did everything i should only do...", Lesale replied. "Then i will give you a purpose. Let me give you this purpose.", it finally said. They headed off far away to more than the trees could see.
