Why don't you try a dragon storm deck, must have the FF:
4 Bogardan Hellkite
4 Lotus Bloom
4 Rite of flame
4 Seething Song
4 Dragon Storm
Your decision what your lands are gonna be and what other creatures your gonna put. Go for 4 or 3 Gigadrowse

This can deliver a turn one kill if you can draw out the killer hand

Are they 8th edition and beyond? Cause as i said earlier i stopped when 8th edition came out... i'd just like to know...

DStorm is a common tourney deck, problem is, it has minimal variations. I'm a casual player by heart, and a budget player by wallet.

I'm on hiatus right no when concerning magic. the latest set did not offer my casual nor my budget side any incentives. The cards were too disjoint to my liking. They even made a card that's practically useless in the current card sets, probably heralding a new concept. But it sucks, NOW.

I love the guilds too!!!!(yeah my thread's alive again)

But in the next chapters of my story, Boros will be partially ostracized and the Azorius Senate will have a bit of change(oops, should'nt have told!)

Any ways I love the Izzet(mad science rocks), Dimir(decking usually, is something an opponent is unprepared of because it's not a common strategy, therefore it's also not very wise to prepare too much for this), and last but not the least, no more!!!!

lol, anyone seen the 1st turn kill of Izzet?, or the perfectly undefeatable (yep, once it's on you can't win) I mean the Platinum angel + Leonin Abunas + Lightning Greaves, perfect

How do you do the turn-one kill of Izzet? What's the god draw thing and does it have anything to do with Necropotence? How do you post images in this forum?

finally found some magic players, well i was a fan of the guilds, but i still can't believe that the boros guild was neglected T_T, well i built a red white beat down deck,
well its composed of this.

4 sacred FOundry
4 Battle Field Forge
4 Gemstone Mine
4 Boros Garrison
4 Plains
4 Mountains

4 Soltari Priest
4 Knight of Holy Nimbus
4 Wildfire Augur(not sure about the spelling,)
4 Savanah Lions
4 Calciderm

4 Rift Bolt
4 Lightning Helix
4 Volcanic Hammer
4 Char

well it can practically beatdown a deck in 5 turns, plus calciderm provides staying power if the game lasts.

Izzet god draw

Izzet Guildmage
Mountain
Lava thingy (deals damage I think 3)
Desperate Ritual

I think it starts with the izzet playing, then splice desperate to the lava thingy then replicate it using the guildmage, you can damage the enemy infinite times since the desperate ritual provides mana, but I think this only happens at 2nd turn, I'm not sure at 1st turn

WOW so many magic players now huh,the last thread on magic was lacking in posts.. i started way back i think 5th EDition and stop on URZA's SAga coz i dont we dont see each others anymore(my friends)..hmmm hehe my deck is black and white control deck and mono green deck thats super fast (specially angainst decks that discards your hand) and mono black( discarded)
