i was just wondering, how do we see the distance between 1 point to another point in Dota?

like how can we measure the length of meathook which in the game is 1000 range and convert it into other measurements

There is only one measurement of range in Warcraft, I think.

A Druid of Talon's range in DotA is x range, divide it into y parts and then estimate. There is no definite number, and also, the range for any spell is stated in the effect.

This is range.Range means how long maybe pudges huke go wide to catch someone.He can seee only watch it has in his range. Smile

There's no 'general calculation' for range.

Here's a tip to estimate range for you:

Imagine there's a Ghoul creep. One ghoul creep is equal to 100 range (estimated), then think of a straight line of Ghouls.

Number of Ghouls in a straight line X 100 = range

Example:

There are 4 ghouls in straight line.

4 (number of ghouls in straight line) X 100 = 400 (range)

Knowing 'how long x pixels is' can be done by trying a spell or an attack of which range has already been known. Eg. By attacking a creep using Lina, u may estimate how long 600 range is. And trying Meat Hooking as far as possible make u know how long 1000 range is.
