I have been wondering about this for a while. It seems that each time I play Rhasta, the Shadow Shaman, his ulti, Mass Serpent Wards tend to aim more towards creeps. As usual, I use a certain strategy whenever I hunt a hero, Voodoo, put ulti while enemy is an animal, then Shackles..there are more ways I use, this is just one, but each time i put the serpents they tend to kill the creeps more than aim for the heroes. As usual, in the early to mid games heroes usually stick with a wave of creeps to farm, so each time i try to hunt, the serpent wards tend to kill all the creeps first. I can only manage to get the wards to hurt the hero if I manage to Shackle the enemy hero. Furthermore, you can't control the snakes to aim their attack at, can you? Sum1 pls tell me, is this problem I am having related to positioning of the serpent wards? If in that case, i usually put the serpent wards near the only way of the enemy hero's escape route(obviously). If there are other reasons or ways to overcome this prob. then plz tell me.

Simple answer: Remove the creeps first.

It is not that simple considering the fact that once the creep wave has almost been destroyed, the enemy hero will most probably flee. Furthermore he knows that there is a hero in the opposing creep wave he is fighting, he would not definitely take on the creeps and the hero himself without his own creeps unless he is really strong enough without doubt.

I really think you CAN control serpent wards.At least i can.And yes, eul's is very uresul to Rhasta, as he can cyclone somebody and land to wards around the cyclone (caged rabbit..).

Cyclone Sceptre Would Be Your Key.

IF NOT Get An Ally To Be With You And Make Him / Her / It Destroy / Kill / Murder The Creep Waves Then Go From Behind / In Front / Beside Of The Enemy

Simple Actually

Control the Wards

Its Quite Possible But Don't Control While Using Rhasta

Agreed. Eul is your answer. clear creeps with Forked Lightning if possible while Cyloning him. Wards Shackles and voodoo. Try to trap him inside the wards when you cyclone. I don't think you can control the wards. Ask a teammate to clear the creeps for you while you position your combo.

@all:

Serpent wards are CONTROLLABLE units, like the GG Death Ward. Plague Wards too (for that matter). So be smart when using wards, double-click wards (to select all wards) and right-click on your target. Destruction follows.

You can control the wards... Just double-click 1 and target the enemy hero.

i thought they had removed that function from serpent ward like in 6.43 or something. i remember not being able to control them.

No i believe you cant control them but what you can do is try to get them after the creep wave gets AHEAD of the hero you want to kill...
This is easier if its a ranged hero but if its a melee hero then almost the only way to do it is with the cyclone from eul's scepter as it has been said already

thanks for the help..but you should know that time i was playing the 6.43, so i guess i cant control where the wards should be aiming yet.

agree.... use cyclone on the hero.. and clear all the creeps then wards...+ voodoo and shuckles...LOL

Well, now the big question is whether the Cyclone provides enough time for Rhasta to kill all the creeps..if its a small wave i think he would be able, but if its a big creep wave....hmmm
