isang beses ko pa lng nagagamit si axe pero nagandahan ako agad sa battle hunger and syempre sa culling blade pero anong item ba bagay sa kanya (sa first game ko using axe i use diffusal para makahabol yung culling blade, i also use skadi, tama ba?... thx..)

You won't really need S&Y on Axe since he's not a chaser.

I usually get him a couple of stout shields and a Ring of Health early game so he could tank and farm creeps easily. After that I get boots, then start saving up for a dagger of escape. Then I'd upgrade one of the stout shields to a Vanguard. After that I get a platemail and save up for a tarrasque, after that i upgrade the platemail to an aegis. Z^-^

Yes, i agree with Orochi about the Stout Shields. Stout shield is the perfect item on Axe. Two stout shields provide higher chance of blocking 30 damage, perhaps 64% or so (with diminishing returns). Creep’s damage will never exceed 30 damage unless the racks are down, with the shields you are physically immune against creeps.

Mathematically 3 stouts provides roughly 78.4% chance of blocking, but for some reason compared to two stouts (64%), 3 stouts at least prevents you from losing 100 more hp when tanking a horde of creeps.


Quick Fact: the 30 damage block goes before the armor, so enemy's damage is first deducted by 30, and then reduced by armor

Stout shields didn't get buffed in the previous versions, they said it was a typo. Theoretically with 3 shields you still do the same when in 6.35b compared to in 6.34.

Use blink dagger. Blink into the enemy and berserker call. You will strong enough since you get +20armor from it. Then let your team do their job. They should attack any hero who is 'busy' attacking you. Your counter helix works if you are attacked right?! So you need item make yourself stronger. Tarasque, vanguard, and aegis are suggested. Taras will pump up your hp, vanguard will make you get less damage, aegis will boost your armor. If there are a lot of melee hero, blade mail is highly suggested.

i'd go for Vanguard for a cheap HP upper and added block damage, then go straight to Aegis of the Immortal. Then I farm for Heart of Tarrasque. Yes, 2-3 stout shields really works and works best on axe.

Even you alone can pawn even 2 heroes at the same time with some Stouts. Take a look at this screenies i found. ~.~

Try 3x Stouts, Threads, Battlefury, tarrasque, then sell the 3x stouts for 2x Aegis, and anything else?
