How to fight Phantom Assassin 1v1?

Agreed with Yuki!Phgantom assassin has low mana pool and harbinger will pwn her...I have played that kinda game which i randomed habinger and my opponent had PA.I used only my ulti to kill him.Arcane orb is pain in the @ss for PA.So harbinger will sure pwn her..

Destroyer may work, but is weak early game until you get a couple of scepters. Atleast you can try to harrass a little with arcane, to keep him away from last hits on creeps.

Another suggestion may be Lion. Great odds for a first kill as soon as you reach level 6, and Lion can be a real pain in the ass late game if he has Guinsoo's.

Item build could be Power Treads, Guinsoo's, Aghanim's, Buriza, Monkey King Bar.

Disable him to death!

1. Impale (2 sec stun)
2. hit
3. voodoo (4 sec sheep)
4. hit
5. hex (4 sec sheep)
6. hit
7. impale
8. hit
9. still alive, eh? finger him!

...continue process

Buriza and MKB is there to increase your damage as you'll have to get his HP down fast when you render him useless with your spells.

blademails can ruin mortred's composure... you can use early game heroes [int heroes]... but if your not good with early gaming, use disablers for assurance... no matter how long the game will take... mortred is still an agi hero with low HP boost... u can use Atropos for an easy example... go pawn him!

note: permabashers are always great!

i don't think perma-stunners are useful against phantom assasin. this is due to the blur evasion she has that really ruins perma-bashers as they miss very often. obsidion destroyer is a good choice. arcane orb is a spell and therefore can't be evaded with blur if casted manually. another good choice that no one has mentioned yet is broodmother.broodmother with her core item the butterfly can cause real pain to PA. why? simply because PA will have a REAL hard time bringing brood's hp down as she'll miss more than 50% of her attacks. brood on the other hand has 60% lifesteal. wonderful eh?

Use Nerubian Assassin and game is over. You said 1vs1 right? get 1 blademail and helm of dominator for first item. Get your spiked carapace and you'll see that mortred won't be able to do a single thing. You can push easily and mortred will just herself if she hits you. Couple of blademails and it's done.

Answer: Nerubian Assassin (best against melee)

Never use 'dps depend hero' against Mortred. Best choices are all heavy nuker. Eg. Lina, lion, lich, rhasta, rylai, etc. Plus dagon! What about if he buys hood of dev? Simply choose hero with skills that deal non spell dmg. Eg: rhasta(ward), voljin(ward,dagon), bane elemental(necronomicon), etc. The most important: use magic against blur!

Use the Lucy guy. Doom deactivates both her ultimate AND blur, meaning that Mortred is in real trouble.Even if she gets hood of defince, the loss of blur and coup is something that she can't really allow to happen.
Also the game has a duration, meaning that you will probably kill her two or three times before she gets to lvl 16. Doombringer has insane strength groth, so even coup won't be a huge poblem. She won't be able to farm well early game just beacause of your presence.

I'd say Viper.
Viper has a good slowing effect defense for agains Mortred.
Viper has poison attack for slowing Mortred.
Viper has an extreme damage from it's ulti.
Viper has a very high attack speed.

Nerubian Assasin will do too,
just do the NA combo to Mortred, and she'll had to "go back" to fountain [after she revived].
Ulti - Impale - Mana Burn - whack whack whack - dagon.
While hero return damage will makes thinking 10x for attacking NA.

Crazy/Heavy nuker can outmatch mortred at early game, just nuke nuke nuke.
[Lina, Luna, Lion, Tinker, etc]

Atropos -> 80% reduce damage = no critical.

Brad could stand and makes her kill herself.
Panda -> split and she'll go to heaven [if you mastered the trio's skill XD].
Doom -> just cast doom and give her a couple whack and wait for the result. [lvl death first if she has linken]

- Fight Fire With fire!
- Troll Warlord as for perma basher.
- Faceless Void, just let her blink strike, then Chrono, and she'll just see her dead body at that blue circle.
- Balanar -> Give her fear, give her void, give her death.

and many more.

Well, the main thing is, how do you play at early game.

i think you are a bit confused and dont want to lose, so i think you should choose bradwarden its sure you'll win when you have 3 blade mails just stun and wait him to kill himself
