How to fight Phantom Assassin 1v1?

tr3ncht0wn i think doom is for early game but if its late
doom is no match for mortred
if it has life steal too heheh
she can attack doom normally and wont get fried on your doom. hehe.

Just Keep Harrasing, and killing motred in the very beginning of the game.
THE KEY TO WIN : Finish game early.
tip: while playing against motred bring a ring of health along this will avoid u from getting back to base every time and losing XP. This way u can Harass Motred more and it'll go easy to make equips to take down tower faster. tip 2 : making a HoT And 2 Blademails against motred makes motred avoid hitting u and that way u can easily take over. thnx

You could also use a mad early game pusher, like Prophet, Brodmother or Dirge. Just push,push,push,push!!! She won't be able to defend her towers easily, so destroy the ancient before she becomes powerful.

Well... I think if i am pa n destroyer is my opponent, i will buy bkb, though there will be less dmg as bkb does not boost dmg, but its enough as the crit n satanic can do the job. We r talking about 1v1 right? So less than 10 sec n gg. lol

Back to the topic, i think the following heroes stand a chance:
1) void--perma bash + uti (chronosphere)
2) troll-- perma bash + uti (rage)

Personally, i have heard my bro telling me that troll defeated pa in one situation n pa defeating him in another. All depends on chance--chance of perma bash n crit respectively. lol

Lol.. Let's see if Mortred can even farm for a BKB. You're depending on items. If that's the case, Harbinger can just buy a blink dagger and blink out when he sees Mortred activate Avatar. When it's over, Harbinger can just go back and pwn her.

The best choice is really Obsidian.

Most 1v1 games are -om games, so you can harass her frequently. Sanity Eclipse kicks Mortred's @$$ easily since PA has the lowest INT in dota. (got it from dotaportal)

Next choice would be Atropos.

Atropos can easily weaken Mortred with one Enfeeble. Atropos can also easily Brain Sap Mortred...

Next choice would be Keeper of The Light (-OM game)

Obviously, she can harass Mortred too easy, and can push too early too.

i say spirit breaker because he has natural bash get 2 cranium basher then a SnY and a heart and power treads if mortred can move there is something very wrong if all else fails just charge and Nether Strike

Use BANE ELEMENTAL, i guarantee u a win if ur pro, cause absolutely no one can go against him 1v1

sry to argue with u once more. But ithink mortred can blink too isnt it. Then it just depends on the chance. Destroyer blink, then pa blink too, ithink theres still babout 5- 6 sec to get destroyer. And this also depend on whether the player can master the limited time well.

Well i think bane is not a gd ideaas well. At the very late game, even mortred's dmg is reduced by 80 or sth more or less, she still hav oner 200 dmg (a normal pa user will probably boost her dmg). With crit hit ,a 8-900 hit every few secs can still be attained. And i think mortred, provided that she hav a satanic, hav enough hp to stand bane's two nukes. Of coz, bane can sleep pa if the situation became desperate, but that only means that he wont die. But he sure cant defeat pa 1v1 lol

Mortred is also weak early game. For one thing, Harbinger is ranged and can easily harass Mortred with Arcane Orb. Mortred can blink-strike but that would just allow Harb's creeps to attack Mortred.

@ Supernoob
Mortred has blink strike. No target = no blink. Low chance that Mortred will cast blink strike the very same time Harbinger casts blink.

Well, thank you all guys. I fought Mortred twice and absolutely won the tournament, first time as Bradwarden (you told he was a good choice, which he realy was - i went with 3 blademails and it ended the way that i hit Mortred and she was damaged, then she hit me and she was damaged...).

Second time as Obsidian (I wouldn´t even think of him without your help - he was the absolutely best - Mortred stood no chance and surrendered soon after i reached level 11 - sanity eclipse is one of best abilites ever).

most easy: -repick and counter your enemy's choice when he buyed his equipment

btw on tournament i prefer prophet to push a lot and dissapear, if u do it well u win, wrath of nature ftw
