Suggestion For IceFrog: Make Diffrent Maps!

Hey. With a new map, you can play dota(those who like it as it is) and the new one(those who are very very very very.........slightly bored with normal dota)

Alright so the basics of the map is like DotA with creeps and stuff. But it's much harder as some of the trees turn into corrupted ancient protectors at night. The creeps also morph at night and return to normal at daytime. The heroes there are taken from different games as some special heroes of my own and some from this site (if you grant me permission)

I say make it like a selectable map that the host can choose from different terrain like elimination tournament so u can still play the old terrain but if u want u can play and ice level or maybe fire etc.

yeh ive thought of the orc/undead and human/night, but instead i thought it would be better as
-allaince (elf/men/dwarf etc)
-Horde (orcs/tauran/troll/ogre/goblin)
-Undead(speak for themselves)
-The Burning Legion (all demonic model heroes such as luci/viper/pit)
I found if you seperate the current heroes by models you do get a fairly even spread into the following groups (give or take about 4). bases could be in the corners of the map. number of players could be a total of 12 (3 per team) or 20 (5 per team) depends on how you want to make it. Games could be made into all vs all or 2v2 etc, with more strategy on wether you should all gank a single enemy (2 teams gank 1 base). lol i havnt got the skills to make such a map but i found the idea appealing. AS put b4, the current map is great, but for vets and long time players, it well does get repetitive, it would be sweet if newer maps could be made, while maintaining the current one, so that the current one would be a standard and the others could be variations. Another idead i thoguht would be cool, would be a multiplane dota (with two separated maps as seen in some normal war maps) joined with portals, so instead of guarding 2-3 lanes it could be 4-6 lanes over two planes. This could spice tournaments up a bit, if league stable versions of the maps were made, so you could technically playin for titles of different types of dota
e.g. "i'm playing in the 1v1, 4 for all, and multiplane dota cups"
meh these are at least my hopes for something to spice dota up rather than just new heroes/items.

I think IceFrog should use the existing Dota heroes and bases and completely revamp the map in between, suppose for eg a capture the flag mode? Sounds really fun...

Yeah cap the flag mode or also Hero arena... or after the end of a regular dota gmae there could be DOTA DEATH MATCH were every 1 is thrown into a pit (only if you want to be apart of the match that is) and they fight to the death and who ever wins is the best, (you could make it INT vs INT, STR vs STR
AGI vs AGI or w/e)

How do these ideas sound?

but i don't propose anything game changing,
i say SAME models SAME heroes SAME items just new or alternatable map so like a lake in the middle? and no simple river ? not a new thing like have rocks instead of trees JUST a new map layout so the lanes change a little?

But 1 thing...models 1 needs to be changed......F R O Z E N T H R O N E
Sentinal gotta new Tree(because the old one looked like a retarded tree and people were mocking sentinal teams about: SHAME YOU DIED TRYING TO PROTECT A TWIG etc etc) but maybe like a frozen lake leading to it? same as sentinal could be on a mountain LIKE IN THE STORYMODE THE TREE OF LIFE IS ONTOP OF A MOUNTAIN AND THE FROZEN THRONE IS IN THE MIDDLE OF A FROZEN LAKE ONTOP A MAUSOLEUM......
