is it possible to deny yourself?

i know you can kill your teammates in some circumstances and i know some heroes can kill himself but i'ö wondering: what about phantom lancer? imagine than a venomencer hit pl with poison nova and lancer got away he's about to die. can he just cast doppelwalk and make his illusion attack him? is it possible? just wondered if anyone knows about this or ever tried...

Yes, very few heroes can kill themselves, namely, Pudge the Butcher, Abaddon the Lord of Avernus and of course the king(s) of suicide, Squee and Spleen the Goblin Techies....
Dunno about PL....
May have forgotten some heroes but those are basically it....
Maybe Huskar can suicide with his ulti but I don't really know for sure.....

I think the images should be able to attack PL.

BTW the list of suicidable heroes is longer than you think. Not only techies/abaddon/butcher, add heroes like:

-Bane -> nightmare yrself, grip anything when you are going to die and you WILL die.
-Bloodseeker -> bloodrage yrself & die fr the -hp deregen.
-Visage -> bat attack!
-Panda -> you kill all 3 pandas, and he kills himelf. Nope you don't get the hero bounty.
-Syllabear -> strike me, dearest bear!
-Beastmaster -> pig attack









and finally, the ultimate suiciding tool

NECRONOMICON

Necro warriors, kill me!

Any hero so long as he has this item will be able to suicide.

EDIT: removed 2x edge fr the list after testing it myself. Somebody told me (and he was so sure) that 2x edge is a suicide spell. Obviously I've not been playing centaur enough. Sorry.

First I sure Venomancers poison nova doesnt kill just goes as far down as 1 hp
Venos usually do a Shadow Strike with their Nova to actually finish em . My friend has denied him self with the BloodSeeker when he was like at 5 hp he used the claws on him self and instantly died

@Caspian: wow man, never thought there would be so many suicide heroes...
But to suicide yourself with those, you need to be in some kind of "poison" effect (Shadow Strike, Doom, etc.)....
With the heroes I said you can suicide from let's say, someone like Balanar, who is sure to catch you and doesnt "poison" you...
It annoys the crap out of them when you suicide this way, and it doesn't require any bad effect on you...

Ummm, wouldn't manta style remove the bad effect?
If you don't have any "poison" effects I believe you can't deny yourself, so manta style is out.....

What about a chicken equipped with dagon 5? Can it kill you? I guez not coz it an ally and you couldn't cast an attack to your ally.. LOL!!!

Double Edge can kill Centaur?

I thought that it would only leave him with 1 hp if I remember correctly. But then again there were a lot of changes and I haven't kept up with the changelogs so I'm not sure.

I think double edge wont kill centaur bah,bcoz i at this website see sum1 say if u have below 400 hp,u cast double edge,the HP will go down to 10.

I assumed that venomancer SSed after Nova. About the 2x edge, pls look at my edited post.

Consider having the neutrals kill you if you are not SSed/Doomed/Battle Hungered/Curse of the Silent-ed (only for heroes without -hp spells)

How can u forget the ultimate suiciderz of all time!!!
Centaur's Double edge (someone just reminded)I think if the warchief dies using double edge on his opponent, the kill doesn't cme to himself but to the opponent.(not very sure, just check it out.)
Techies Suicide (may also take ur opponent along)
Butcher's Rot ("Slow me baby, i'm dyin'?")

It's very difficult for these heroes to be killed by others...
As they can kill themselves even in gank!!!


Did U KnO: When Doomed on Rot, the pudge's kill may even come back to himself as suicidal (heard it from somewhere, can also be a rumor).


Those are my thoughts. U may add urs!!! Thnx

Double edge can't kill centaur, at most it'll leave him with 1 hp left.
