just want to know who plays Magic the Gathering here...card game by Wizards of the Coast...

just a try...perhaps i could ask some cards from you kasi...need some...

Hehe. I used to play it before but I stopped. I had a red-green deck and a white-blue deck. I'm not updated with the new expansions anymore. So I can't say much about this. o_-

Are the moxes still useful nowadays? I have some of them.

Damn, Yukino, you're right! It's an expensive habit!!!

About my themes, I remember my red-green in particular. I had those birds of paradise land cards... 2 I think. And then several 1/1 creatures, ernham djinns, autumn willows, incinerate, etc. Mostly direct damage, no tricks under my sleeve. My white-blue is based more on spells... I don't remember the cards anymore sadly. But I think had some serra angels in it.

I also had another expensive habit besides Magic, it's called comics. Errrr... Good thing I've gotten over them. My bad (but good) habit now is DS..hehe.. but it doesn't cost me much.

I used to play. I'm also retired, since August of last year. The last major tourney I played was a Nationals qualifier. Didn't make it though. I was playing Type 2 Small Red back then. Ah yes, I could crush Tooth and Nail and any green-based deck back then. Too bad I always got paired against White Weenie. So I had a hard time winning. But it was still good. I miss those days.

I still have cards here, the ones left from my Carl Critchlow deck. I plan to sell them when Extended season comes again, whenever that is, hehe. I still have 4 Sakura-Tribes, 4 Werebears, 4 Phantom Centaurs, 4 Call of the Herds, 4 Innocent Bloods, 4 Smothers, 2 Decree of Pains, 1 Silvos, 4 Grand Coliseums. The rest are crap cards.

I have a collection of every card with Carl Critchlow art, and a few foil versions of those cards. And a collection of Walls. And I have a complete set of the Urza Block.

I've been playing MTG since 2nd year HS(4 years ago) but I was never that addicted to it, people just mistake me for a MTG addict coz my mono-black Shadow deck is considered H4XX0RZ by my friends and most people to play against it for the first time XD.

I also have an elf deck, snake deck, white weenie samurai deck, and a mono-blue library discarder deck.

I'm also 'taking care' of my friends deck, now THAT is a H4XX0R deck! It can win games in 2-3 turns! Even in one turn if it got a really luck draw.
I love using that deck against strangers just to see the reaction on their faces XD

I really was. There was a time when I had 4 competitive decks that I can play on the go when I wanted to, complete with the most powerful and expensive cards that you can find. Until the "girlfriends days" started. Nyahaha.

I stopped coz I realized that I spend more money on MTG than my gf. Magastos din kasi ang may gf. So I had to choose which one to give up. MTG had to go, that's why I'm back to playing PC games. Cheaper than MTG, and I don't have to leave the house. When I sold my cards, I got 17,000+ pesos from them. That's when I realized that I had a very very huge investment in the game. The ones remaining in my possession are the ones I posted earlier. I could still get a hefty sum from my excess cards.

The Uzra Block complete set is now worth $550. That's more than 30,000 pesos y'all!

Maybe I could "share" my Prerelease cards collection, and FNM cards collection, though they're quite few compared to others. I also collect those Token cards and Textless spells. My brother plays too, until now, so he uses some of my leftover cards. If you have the Clockwork Beast with Carl Critchlow art from the Beatdown set, then we might stike a deal.

Avon and Alexander lands are uber cool. I never get tired of looking at them.

I've sold all my decks right after I stopped playing. And that's where I got my 17k.

Shadow decks rule! Carnophage, Dauthi Horror, Dauthi Slayer, Black Knight, Sarcomancy, Dark Ritual, and Hatred. Could kill on turn two on the god draw!
