Er, Mishra is a "he". The chick I referred to was Jaya Ballard.

And yes, I'm sure that Slivers are back. Along with Rebels, Kavu, Kithkin, and Merfolk.

@ yukino:

You could always look at Gatherer and read the flavor texts there, so you don't have to buy the cards.

I remember the time when Magic was new and people thought it was a girl's game, coz there are artifacts based on gemstones and the most expensive card is a flower.

Oh yeah that pentagram thing in Unholy Strength caused so much "issues" back then, when there shouldn't be an issue coz it's an artist's interpretation about the properties of the card. They were not allowed in schools because of that certain issue.

are you guys attending its pre release? 23rd daw this month...

my decks are going to get older na naman...can't keep up...too many expansions a year...

in our school magic cards are confiscated na once you caught playing...
buti na lang i graduated na there...it used to be allowed there...

Or rather, your budget gets to choose the pieces. Har-har.

Yeah cards were banned in La Salle Dasma too. Apparently, players were overstaying in the cafeteria just to play, preventing others to find tables where thay can eat. We play in the kubo hehehe.

ZOMG! WHERE CAN I GET THIS!?

I'm thinking of transforming my mono-black shadow deck into a Dauthi-Soltari deck... Not sure if that's such a good idea though. And soltari cards are very hard to find nowadays, actually ALL shadow cards are... I'm just lucky that my fiend sold all those shadow creatures for a mere 300php XD


EDIT: OMGWTFBBQ! BINALIK NILA SHADOW SA BAGONG SET!? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! MY UNFAIR DECK WON'T BE UNFAIR ANYMORE! WAAAAAH!

Hehe, don't worry, since Shadow is in itself overpowered, I don't think there'll be a new more powerful anti-shadow creature, since there will be fewer Shadow creatures this time. Also, there's still no Shadow hate as of this moment.

If a new and more powerful Shadow creature comes up, then get a copy as well! Fight fire with fire, I say!

A Dauthi-Soltari deck would be fine, but just imagine the colored requirement on your cards. Soltari Monk and Priest both cost WW, and Dauthi Slayer costs BB. So to compensate for this, you need more lands that produce both black and white mana. Which translates to Srublands, Caves of Koiloses, and Godless Shrines. Ka-ching! $$$$$ But hey, I wouldn't stop you from trying it.
