What item do you think is better?

This item:

Ancient Tango Of Essifation

-Heals 175 Hp over 25 seconds
OR
-Bonus 7 Hp regen for 25 seconds

-90 gold (aghhh... previous versions it was only 80 gold)
-2 charges, can be targetted only on trees

Or this item:

io Flask Of Mineral Sapphire Water

(As of 6.45)
-Heals 400 Hp over 10 seconds (it got a major buff, previously the duration was 20 seconds )
OR
-Bonus 40 Hp regen for 10 seconds

-1 charge
-100 gold
-Dispels when attacked

What do you think? Give your opinions.

I actually choose Flask. 'Coz it got a major buff (lasts only 10 seconds YAY) and it's now actually better than tango, which got its gold cost increased from 80 to 90. Even though it dispels on attack, it's definitely better now, 'coz 1 tango charge heals 175 Hp over 25 seconds (so long), yet it doesn't dispel when attacked.

yeah i agree coz if you r dying early game u can just cast it on urself sit back and pray that u make it back to ur fountain

it depends, tango doesn't dispel upon getting attacked, but it has slow regen, a total of 350 for 50 seconds, whereas flask gives 400 regen for 10 seconds, so tango if you have alot of encounters(being aggressive) or if the enemy has poison, flask if you are harrassed alot

i was using evey game a tango its much better coz its not dispel when attacked i usually used to have 6 charges

Personally, I prefer getting flasks now than tangos.

I rarely get hit or harassed by my opponents nowadays. Ahh..

I get Tangooes as a regen item not as a healing item. I remember back in the days where a RoR is a must and although flasks were better at healing they couldn't replace RoR. It's the same reason why Flask can't replace tangooes until now. Flasks are gone in one shot but tangooes can last longer.

Flasks are slightly better bang for your buck. Tangos give you 7/8s of the heal (350/400) for 9/10s of the price, or in percentages 87.5% of the heal for 90% of the cost. So really the difference is NOT that big.

Each item has a few other advantages and disadvantages, though.

Tangos - can be used sooner, and obviously in the heat of battle. Can even be used when close to full life and about to engage, for higher EHP. Tangos can always be used to escape sprout, remove treants eye of the forest, and sometimes open a path through trees that didn't exist previously. The disadvantages of tangos is that it takes longer to get your hp back, and you have to take the time to go eat a tree.

Flask - Gets your hp back much faster. Even if you don't get the full 10 seconds of regen, this potion can save you in a chase, and possibly even let you turn on your opponent for a kill. Most nukes have 7+ seconds for cooldowns, and that may be just enough time for your flask to keep you alive. This potion can be used anywhere, while on the run even, so you don't have to pause and walk up to a tree. The disadvantage is obviously the dispel on hit, but a lot of times you can use a flask to bait your enemy into a trap, because he'll want to try and cancel your heal, and 10 seconds is a shorter window than some might think. The other disadvantage to flasks, is that you have to wait until your hp is at a pretty dangerous level early game before you use it. Against heavy nukers with a low hp hero (500 starting hp?) having max hp-400 is not too safe.

So in my opinion tangoes are better for some heroes, mainly the low hp ones that need to keep their hp topped off or risk dieing, but also the heroes that are in the fray and can be easily targeted. Flasks are a better bang for you buck though, so use them whenever you find that you can without risk.

Personally I use tangos more often, but I prefer flasks. Make sense?

I still prefer tango to flask assuming that I won't let my hero too much get damaged. And also tango work well with RoR and hero base hp regen. And 2 charges will keep u longer in the battle field. Flask does give an instant hp regen, but sometimes it causes the waste of hp regen...

up to what is your hero i think. Flask really worths for hero killers especially the AGIs. They do chase a lot which means in this case, the flask would fit. The INTS better use clarity+tango as well as for STRs.

Before 6.44, tangoes were the best. Because they were such a good substitute for RoR, for only 80 gold. But now that flasks are buffed up, many chose them over tangoes. But the truth is that Empty Bottle is the best
