its the risk of your enemy chose axe.
but however, every hero has weakness.
axe equal to bristleback.
they has skill to tanking damage.
if axe can't be created by axe, his skill berserker call must be removed too because he has no item damage decreaser..

I play axe that way and trust me it doesn't always work, sometimes I encounter 2 heroes in my lane which can own the shit out of me. I may also encounter ranged heroes which will give me a difficult time forcing me to make a fountain trip.

lol this is an angry thread! To hold off axe (especially early and this is for a more than 2v2 game) just pick zues and maiden with arcane ring. frostbite, bolt, chain, nova, chain, bolt thats like 1500 damage, enough to kill him or at least make him retreat. late game u need centaur or mass damage agi heros.

lol...vengeful spirit and pudge cant buy blink dagger because they can abuse it, but i cant see how axe abuses stout shied or vanguard, so how is that a good reason to ban axe from buying those? btw, axe is food without vanguard...

lol oh and btw...if im not mistaken..Spectre with dispersion can do something similar to axe...reflects damage..and visage too...gravekeepers reflects 5% of total dmg...just sayin :P...

this forum exists to help you on your problem,

nothing needs that much nerfing as banning items except for the pudge and vengeful situation...

you are having a hard time against him bcoz you're not just using the right heroes against him or either you're not use to fighting him...

it's that easy, everyone has it's pros and cons, its just that vanguard buffs him great...
