Greetings, humble folks!

Here what this is all about:

In this thread i want you to post what you think are the most suitable items(Chosen from the ones shown in the Dream Items forum) to be added to Dota. We will look through them and then send a message to the maker for permission to send it and make adjustments if needed.

You may promote your own dream item provided it is not a work of stupidity and randomality :p.

I personaly think that tomes would take all joy that recepies and whole DotA give. Sorry zex!
By the way,I realy like mine Tolken of greed and Bag of syntezis(Ultimat recepie scroll,as FF_Dragon named it).I apologize for sugesting my item,but the thing is I was writing the strategy last few days and I also had a little time for DS,so I haven't ben in a opportunity to look someone elses items.

way too many recipe combos -
sooner or later,
it'll be like not mater what your invent contains, youll find some or the other recipe for those item....
is there some way to curtail the sudden influx of not-s-unqie items??

This may be a bit lame that I'm promoting my own items but I didn't invent them for nothing. So I will now just present here why I believe they should appear in DotA. The recipes were carefully chosen to "abuse" more aspects of the game than have already been exploited while not bringing some super duper original stuff that has nothing to do with the items already existant (this makes them awkward). Click on the names of the items to see the stats of the items.

Keldar Totem
First is my Keldar Totem. Hmm, let's see. How many of you have reached mid and even late game with power treads in your inventory? I'm sure many, because of the multiple strategies I've seen around suggesting power treads up to the later steps of the game. It's a shame not to be able to further upgrade them. I mean yes, Movement and Attack speed is nice, but a cool late item could use more than that.
The item also uses Bracer which yes, you've guessed, is another unexploited item. It is cheap, and is prone to being upgraded, yet I've seen no recipes using it up to this point (I hope I'm not wrong :P). How many of you have bought a bracer in the early game, just to sell it later because it was just too weak? Well, with the Keldar Totem instead of being wasted, it is invested into a much better item.
The totem is excellent for strength heroes (which are usually melee, so the pulverize effect fits their needs too). I don't find it overpowered due to the fact that it's not cheap (4400) but uses some items which would otherwise look either weak, or simply useless and so, dumped into the shop.

Thestral Sgian
Once again, exploiting unimproved items, the Thestral Sgian requires 2 Wraith Bands. Why 2? Because many agility hero strategies suggest purchasing 2 Wraith Bands. Why dump one when you can invest both into this item? The Wraith Band is just like the Bracer an unexploited item, useful at the beginning and then simply sold at the shop, happy end. Quite sad.
And secondly, we have the Blinking Dagger (Kelens Dagger of Escape) which in my opinion is awful. It is extremely expensive and yes, it can save you, but 2000+ gold? Come on, isn't that a bit too much? For me, it is, and I never ever bought this item. But with this upgrade not only does it keep its blinking ability, but can be used to slow an enemy hero (though you move near him).
The advantage is pretty clear. Many heroes could use a disabling skill (stun, slow, etc.) but some simply don't have one (example: razor). With this item, every hero has access to such an ability. The main disadvantage is the fact that you move next to the hero. Just try this on pudge. He'll activate Rot and you're screwed. So it must be used with extra care or you can get into trouble. It is mostly recommended for strength/agility heroes.

Impervius Necklace
Omg, am I sounding predictable? Well, you've guessed it. If I had a recipe for Wraith Band and Bracer, why not make one for Null Talisman? This one is cheaper than the other two and is excellent for an intelligence hero. Its ability has not been exploited into DotA as far as I know, and it can save your life many times. I'm talking about Spell Steal. There are a lot of pesky heroes around with some really annoying magical buff abilities (Malefice, Battle Hunger, Amplify Damage etc.) and when possessing this item, your life can sometimes be easier. Of course, some might say that having this item can make certain hero skills useless. Well, then I guess so does Linken's Sphere (especially when it comes to Storm Bolt, Arc Lightning or other abilities).

So let me know what you think about my items. If you have some suggestions, ideas of improvement or balance, please let me know and I will do my best to make these items better. Thanks for reading this.

How about the Book of Retraining? Its a good item and it will go a long way in Dota.
