What is your strategy when playing -deathmach?Who to take first?What item build to use?

I usually go for STR type heroes. Remember that you don't really need to strategize how you die. Deathmatch is just so you aren't allowed to have the same hero.

I go for my best (or mostly used) STR hero. Usually STR heroes need the same items, e.g. Power Treads, S&Y, MKB, Buriza, so it's pretty standard.

Choosing INT heroes isn't really optimal, as their builds really vary. But if you feel comfortable playing them, or your best character is an INT hero, then you could choose INT types.

So choose only among STR, AGI or INT type heroes and you should do fine. Coz hero types in one category mostly have the same item builds.

What you could also do is buy Bracers. They're not the most useless of the three (Wraith Band and Null Talisman) coz every hero needs HP.

Other items I usually get is Perseverance -> Linken's Sphere, Eye of Skadi, even Soul Booster and Blade Mail, but they're mostly not acquired often.

If you're good enough, the first hero you choose could very well be your hero up to the end of the match! So always go for your best hero first.

I agree at Garfield at choosing your best hero first. Try to get "all-around" items if the game is -ardm. Linken's shpere is a must item for me in DM games.
