Sotar Nolgin - The Frenzied Berzerker

Damage: 46 – 50 | HP: 511 | Mana: 182
HP Regen: 0.76 | Mana Regen: 0.57
Attack Speed: 1.36 | Armor: -4

Blood stains the pale earth as the sound of metal clashing fills the air along with the scent of gunpowder and death... To an ordinary man, this is hell... To Sotar, it is paradise... Born the daughter of a knight, she was trained to wield a Bastard Sword when she was only seven years old. By the age of sixteen, she had mastered the weapon, and even defeated her father. She tried fitting in as an ordinary soldier, but felt the no pleasure in it. That is, until the Scourge came. Where others faltered against the hordes of undead, Sotar flourished; her blade sweeping through their rotting carcasses like they were nothing. she had saved her home, but the battle left her changed... She now longed for more... And so, Sotar joined the Sentinel to sate her unending thirst for carnage. Though the Sentinel are uneasy about having her at thier side, they're relived they aren't on the wrong side of her blade...


Wild Cleave

Sotar's power comes from her unpredictable nature and great speed. With sword in hand, she will strike in great arcs, her Bastard Sword carving up many foes in a single swing.

Level 1: 9% splash when normal. 15% Splash when Thirst for Battle activates.
Level 2: 22% splash when normal. 29% Splash when Thirst for Battle activates.
Level 3: 34% splash when normal. 42% Splash when Thirst for Battle activates.
Level 4: 47% splash when normal. 56% Splash when Thirst for Battle activates.

Passive




Leap Attack
If she finds a foe too ugly or too much in the pain in the ass, Sotar will leap head-first towards them, bringing her blade down onto thier head.

Level 1: Range 400. Deals 50 damage.Deals an extra 60 damage when Thirst for Battle is active.
Level 2: Range 500. Deals 110 damage. Deals an extra 75 damage when Thirst for Battle is active.
Level 3: Range 600. Deals 180 damage. Deals an extra 90 damage when Thirst for Battle is active.
Level 4: Range 700. Deals 260 damage. Deals an extra 105 damage when Thirst for Battle is active.

Mana cost: 140

Cooldown: 20 seconds

Framework: Just like Void's Time Jump


Aura of Madness
Frenzied Berzerkers have a great power to inspre allies on the battle field. Many choose to copy Sotar's wild moves, increasing thier speed and damage, but also increasing injuries.

Level 1: Increases the attack speed and damage of allies in a 500 AoE by 12%, but increases the damage they take by 6%
Level 2: Increases the attack speed and damage of allies in a 500 AoE by 25%, but increases the damage they take by 13%
Level 3: Increases the attack speed and damage of allies in a 500 AoE by 39%, but increases the damage they take by 20%
Level 4: Increases the attack speed and damage of allies in a 500 AoE by 54%, but increases the damage they take by 27%

Passive




Thirst for Battle
In the heart of combat is where all frenzied berzerkes find ecstasy. The untamed emotions Sotar feels on the battlefield drive her mad, making an already crazed warrior even more deadly and reckless.

Level 1: Gives 30% attack Speed, 25% damage, 9% move speed. 30% more damage taken.
Level 2: Gives 60% attack Speed, 50% damage, 18% move speed. 55% more damage taken.
Level 3: Gives 120% attack Speed, 100% damage, 36% move speed. 80% more damage taken.

Passive

Mana Cost: 20% of your mana pool.
Cooldown: 90 seconds

Note: 15% chance of Activation. If you don't have enough Mana, it won't activate. Lasts 30 Seconds at all levels.

I like the concept of hero, really reflects her personality, the thing i found really amazing is her ultimate, she gains extraordinary boost at the cost of extraordinary amplify damage. i would rather lower the amplify damage cause when morthread faces these freak a few critical hits its over for this guy.

Good hero, imbalanced in a good way. He needs lost of the following: life steal, evasion & hp+armor. With potentially 100% damage increase, every miss counts. Not a hero bent on survival, but rather on a slightly positive balance of kills/deaths. Actually, the only thing I have to say against him is the fact that the item build to make him modestly effective is really, really expensive & that he would not last alone against ranged heroes &/| disables. A 10/10 nevertheless!

Acursed, you are seeing the point of this hero. A Frenzied berzerker is supposed to wild as a demon plucked from hell and have as much regard for thier own life as an emo kid. Plus, they treat the frenzy of battle like a drug. Bard man did his best to bring that to life in this hero idea. When Mango finishes a story and Ghost gives me icons, Bard Man will submit this to the Hero Ideas section.

Large AOE and the fact that the ulti already gives you a huge increase in damage taken makes the impact of using the aura lighter. It just doesn't matter if you have 27% more damage taken. 27% IAS and damage do count bigtime. This hero would die a lot and kill a lot. I would like to play this hero!

Ok seriously, this hero is amazing. Where huskar, warlord, and all the "berserk" spell users have failed, you have succeeded. I can see it now...

Sotar rushing into the battle field with an army of fellow berserkers at her side...can you feel it? Not just the bloodlust, not just the frenzy, but the want, the need to battle. This hero, to anyone who can't feel that fury is one who would hurt her team. But when you see the battle through that berserker rage, shes too beautiful for words. 100/100 man...good work.

Update you say... eh I know how berserkers work, I just didn't think the skill was any good ... Now updated obviously. I think it should be able to be toggled - I mean, what if your four caster allies don't really want to take extra damage? Ah its 54% IAS and damage, therefore keep the giant penalty...
I did say this was good before y'know.

well as far as i can see there is balance because of aura thirst making you take an additional 107% but if you got yourself a Satanic or dare i say it MoM and a Basher, add a bruiza and you COULD be unstoppable bar anything bigger than a *1v2 forest battle on the other hand, if you do anything stupid this could easily result in all your allies dying.
well i guess you win some you loose some.

i might have to agree with shim, toggling the aura is probably a good idea but give it a cooldown for after it has being deactivated (5 seconds or something)...
