does bkb cancel these AOE skills?

centaur's hoof stomp
sandking's burrowstrike and epicenter
lion and nerub assassin's impale
leshrac's split earth, diabolic edict and pulse nova earthshaker's fissure, enchant totem and echoslam
obsidian's sanity eclipse
treant's overgrowth
raylai's freezing field
etc...

It won't cancel but it'll just prevent these skills from damaging you...

BKB have similar effects as naix's avatar....

YES. It "cancels", when activated it protects you from slowing and stunning spells. Well there is few exceptions but only few.

BKB prevents u from getting magic damage. But some spells deal physical damage and they go through BKB. Eg. Diabolic edict, scatter shot, dead/serpent/pleague ward, etc.

BKB will make you immune to:
War stomp (Centaur)
Burrowstrike and Epicenter (Sand King)
Impale(Anub'arak & Lion)
Split Earth and Pulse Nova (Leshrac)
Fissure and Enchant Totem (Raigor)
Freezing Field (Rylai)

It will not make you immune to:
Diabolic Edict (Leshrac)

It will give partial immunity to some spells:
Overgrowth (Rooftrellen): You get disabled, but take no damage from the spell.
Echoslam (Raigor): The main damage of echoslam will hurt you, but you will be immune to the extra damage from echos from nearby creeps.

Yeah, before it was kinda pointless, since the ultimate owned this big time...
Now, 4.5 seconds are like a joke... I know, you get some ASPD, but look at Omni for crying out loud! It might (read: MIGHT) be a good idea, but only against some serious nuker issues....
As for topic, I believe it blocks every single one of them, but I've still seen other effects happen to you, like getting "bitten" by pudge (no damage though), stunned (mirana <.<, still no damage), so it's still not a 100% immunity...

bkb cancel the hero casting channelling spell if used at the wrong time rite? i was using sandking and i was going to do borrowstrike epicenter combo but i press activate bkb at the wrong time (while channelling epicenter) and it cancelled epicenter.
