The bearer of vast knowledge of herbs and plants of unknown origins. Named after the Goddess herself, trained in the medical arts of magic. Unmatched in the art of healing, and wooed by countless men. Ceres has the beauty to match her skills. In the war of the Scourge and the Sentinel, she took the Sentinel side, promoting growth and health to support the warriors from the side of light..

Recolta Aura: (T)
The abundance of the land has grown beyond reality, blessing the sons of the earth.

Level 3 – Regenerates 4 hp/sec

AOE: 650
Framework: Green spirits coming from the earth surrounds allies, floating around them
Notes: Like the regen aura of Mekansm only stronger.

Prospera: [R]
Known as the herbalist, Ceres uses one of her wickedly sick magic potions to gain the upper hand in battle. The only downside of this potion is its unstable property causing the buff in random.
Haste Buff: Increases move speed by 30%
Armor Buff: Increases armor by 10
Regen Buff: 10 hp regen/sec, 10 mana regen/sec
Damage Buff: Increases damage by 50%
The buffs occur on random, no two buffs can happen at the same cast.

Framework: Haste Buff can be seen as the boots of speed in the status bar, Armor Buff can be seen as the chainmail in the status bar, Regen Buff can be seen like the regeneration orb in the status bar, Damage buff looks like the icon of Thundergod’s Wrath in the status bar.
Notes: the buff can be seen in the status bar of the target and stacks with other auras.

Seceta: (S)
Drought, void, emptiness. Ceres can dispel the buffs or spells of a target ally or foe.
Level 1 – Can dispel positive buffs/spells (eg. Inner Vitality, Frost Armor etc)

Cooldown: 15/13/11/9
Casting Range: 700
Framework: Hands coming from the earth clasp on the target immediately canceling the spell buff
Notes: the buff will also be removed in the status bar

Brilliant Green: (B)
The massive harvest works wonders for those who serve Mother Earth but deals punishment to those whose intentions are vile and evil.
Upon activation will heal allies or damage enemies in 600 AOE surrounding Ceres.
Level 1 – Heals for 75 per sec, Damages for 50 per sec for 5 secs
Level 2 – Heals for 115 per sec, Damages for 90 per sec for 5 secs

Cooldown: 175/165/155
Channeling
Framework: Green Leaves falling from the sky to the ground then disappears.
Notes: This spell can be deactivated by disables

Skill Discussion

Recolta Aura: This skill will give your team more survival early in the game, having this kind of aura gives your heroes the risk to take damage while dealing damage. This aura also will make tangoes unnecessary.

Prospera: This skill will give you an advantage but its quite tricky not knowing what kind of buff you will be receiving. The armor gives more survival, the haste gives you a chance to escape or chase heroes, the regen like the regen rune can be dispelled when attacked, the damage buff will give you the boost you need to push or inflict heavy damage to foes

Seceta: This skill is the ultimate wow skill, it makes your opponent say ****, ****, **** and quit.. Well this skill will debuff a target, and at level 4, it can dispel silenced heroes.

Brilliant Green: The cooldown is slow, the mana cost is high, its channeling, so that makes it quite hard to use, but the major point of this is, it can easily revitalize your damaged teammates for 735 hp, and deal 600 hp damage to enemies. Use the heal when pushing or when teammates just receive huge damage or you can use it to damage opponents, possibly use it when enemies are stunned, disabled, or slowed.

Skill Synergies

Since Ceres is more of a support heroes, her Seceta can dispel a negative buff to an ally hero, her Prospera can buff the ally, plus her Recolta will serve as heal for the whole team, and if simple regen is not enough, her ultimate works wonders to those who lacks HP.
Dispel the negative buff then buff with your Prospera
Recolta (minor regen) then Brilliant Green (major regen)

Item Discussion:

Mekansm: This item will make you the ultimate survivor, the ultimate supporter of the team, its regen aura, stacks with your Recolta aura

Boots of Travel: This item although a luxury, can prove useful to aiding your running teammates or pushing in a safe distant lane

BKB: This item will make your Ultimate worth using

Hand Of Midas: Since Ceres has no farming skills, this item will help her get the items for late game

Dagon: This item, really not advisable since it doesn’t give that much attributes but since Ceres has no damaging skills except for her ultimate, a 400 instant damage isn’t too bad if you’re bored supporting, so with this you can go for the kill.

Shiva’s Guard: This item works well against melee monsters who will try to consume you, also the slow works in chasing fleeing heroes and the armor plus is a bit of a standoff itself.

Linken Sphere: If you’re not going for BKB, this will give you the stats plus the regen you need, being an int hero.

Refresher Orb: If you like using your ultimate and if you ultimate is really that important in your game, then you can go for this item.

Optional Items:

Assault Cuirass: Adds armor, and attack speed, works well with your buffs

Guinsoo Scythe: If you’re really the supporter you are, then go for this item

Blink Dagger: When you’re up against monsters, this item will save your neck

Radiance: Will give you the damage plus and the aura to farm for gold

Heroes Discussion

Best Allies: AOE Disablers, Slowers, Stunners
Magnus, Leviathan, Squee n' Spleen, Purist, Raigor, Rhasta, Darchrow, Rooftrellen, Rylai, Azgalor

Best Combo: Black Hole/ Reverse Polarity/ Stasis Trap plus Brilliant Green

Worst Enemies: Mana Burners, Permastunners, Heavy Nukers
Anub'arak, Magina, Darkterror, Barathrum, Slardar, Jah'rakal, Lina, Akasha, Gondar, Rikimaru etc

End: Feel free to comment anything.

Hey there. This is Bard Man.

Gonna rate this hero and move on.

Recolta Aura: Good as is. A perfectly fine regeneration skill.

Prospera: Again, perfect support skill. Maybe add a mana regen buff to that mix? Yes? No? your choice. Doesn't need it, but it'd be nice.

Seceta: Does this get rid of aall the buff/debuffs or just one? Either way, it's just a weak purge.

Brilliant Green: This reminds Bard Man of the ule of an old hero he made. Thy Wraith. Same effect but with a hitch. Though, Bard Man's version was stronger.

The detail you used in writing this out is superb. You have Bard Man's respect and He hopes to see more of your work.

This hero gets a 9.5/10

I really like thsi hero & very baalnced IMO. Great work the game is kinda lacking pure support heroes & this hero is just perfect. The potion skill was clever with the randomness of it.
9.5/10

Keep up the good work

Hmm I too recognize that ultimate from at least one other hero... its good though. I agree that the debuff spell kind of sucks... and it costs 185 mana? Dispels Silencing spells, ooo, can it dispel the Silence on yourself... no because you are Silenced! I think that one needs a remake of some sort.

As a person who loves support characters all the time, I have to say I love this hero. My only issue with the whole deal is the dispel. Though everyone has called it a weak version of Purge, I call it an OP version of the original dispel. This character, dropped into the Dota of today, would become instant staple for Sentinel line-ups, as that dispel can shatter a number of extremely powerful ultimates.

Outside of that, definitely a 5/5. Well done Smile

dispelling silence on yourself, is too imba.. so i'll leave it that way, so you can dispel silence on your teammates if your not silenced..
