How do you trully melt your opponents? early game buy 1 stout shield then ring of protection then tangoes maybe 4., why? because you will rusharcane ring.. why? he is not a caster., unfortunately he is.. observe the 4 skills all activated.. all high mana cost including the death pact which we will use only lvl 1 throughout.. why not rush guinsoo or orchid? bec you will finish it mid game for what mana? it sucks., clinks loses his str for that bec his combo is meant for hit and run.. meaning hitting hard very fast.. so how do you then do it? after arcane you can then abuse you skills to its fullest especialy the fire arrows., autocasting it especially when neutralling or pushing and be able to use strafe more frequently when farming.. also abuse of death pact to virtually no return at fountain., 175 mana cost? arcane at your disposal no prolemO.. so what item d oyou rush after getting arcane? "divine rapier".. you kidding me?! nope., mid game it will bring chaos to your hero victim.. 5sec is enough to take it down., remember after this your farming capabilitites is insane., 1 hit for ranged creep and 2 hits for melee., so worrying about you being targeted is not a worry at all because you can rush any item for survival like linkens., remember when equipped with this you can outrun any hero because the windwalk of clinks is very imba.. i mean insanely fast so even gemmed heroes won't be able to catch up.. after treads arcane divine linkens target buriza asap.. remember don't sell the stout shield it means a lot.. giving toughness to you.. a bit though.. after buriza then they will really feel your scourching fire attacks that's what he is meant for., hit hard and fast.. the problem with usuall players is that they tend to over farm clinks with expensive items not worth his reputation., why not butterfly because you are not surviving attack you are giving attacks.. strafe would suffice for atckspd for so much late game and remember you have teammates to support you.. ok.. so strafe your way to victory..^^ remember also: not all str heroes needs heart., not all agi heroes needs butterfly., and not all int heroes needs guinsoo

I would have to say no to arcane, the only skill you will really spam is searing arrows, ww is only for escaping and strafe is for killing, death pact is too expensive and WW is a better escaping tool imo (and don't say it's on cooldown since a smart player will start the kill after the cooldown is over so it's useable)

autocasting is bad, especially when you are neutralling

Divine rapier is bad if they have any form of disable since they will kill you

Bfly is better, and MKB is also popular since it will trigger a lot

treads for sure (you don't need the ms since you have ww)
Linkens is good for the spell block and the mana regen
another bfly/mkb is all you need and it's gg

You really shouldn't make this such a huge wall of text. Break it up some so that is easier to read. The point that your trying prove is good and that you should be open to different builds, but to be honest I personally don't like this and just stick with the whole : Treads, Monkey King Bar, Butterfly and then whatever.

uhm, arboks.. I don't know how much DotA you play, but if anybody went DR as their first real item, they would be focus fired, even though you claimed not to be. Any hero with disables would be able to kill you as soon as you got it, and any good team or even a couple players would kill you and take the DR, no joke. There are a couple heroes that can keep you disabled for a very, very long time, this is NOT a good idea. Do you happen to play on lag.net US East?

arboks... you don't seem very open to other people's way of playing.. yes your way makes sense .. but that doesn't mean other people's way doesn't make any less sense... so my friend i also tell you.. a little understand and common sense will help you a lot

well i think it is a very good idea.

if u ply against a team with no or little dissables, than u can go for it.
but plying against dissablers would be insane - too fragile.

what about buying bloodstone?
gives u mana and HITPOINTS! also regen. it gives u insane regen if u are on a killing spree.

if u have 5 kills or so - u get 5x2 mana and hp per second. with 150% mana regen and 10mana per second u can spam ur spells like mad, also u are not that fragile.
the down side is that it costs 5075 gold.
i think im gonna try this itembuild someday.

idea for ur guide:
1. arcane ring
2. linken sphere
3. divine rapier
4. blood stone

after getting the bloody stone u can sell arcane and get ur secon divine... =P

also,
If you play against a team with little to know disables, then they most likely have their own DPS and nukes. Even with linkens and bloodstone, Clinkz can't stand up to taking nukes to the face on top of having mort and spec attack him, and he will be focused on like that if he gets a naked DR. Even with aegis+DR, he'll be focused just so that he's out of the fight.

A simple ward or gem gives them enough time to kill clinkz, no matter what his ms is if he gets focus fired.

i tell yah there is no need for Arcane . .

better buy some survivability items for Clinkz OR save it for Butterfly or MKB . .

i suggest farming for MKB first. .

I guess going for divine is ok . . BUT only if you're good at farming and WW out of danger . .

you don't just go hunting for kills when you've got Divine in you're inventory . .

farm! farm! farm! and if you can get a chance to get Aegis . . Go for it! . .

but be careful! . .

kill it fast. . get out fast! . .
