Sange And Yasha = Newb Item?

For real, i seen many people recommending this, but... everytime i do it, it won't give me any REAL difference, actually, i think it's a pretty useless and pointless item to do(for it's price), so in my opnion, yes, it's a newb item, but i would like to know if it's really worth to some heros, yeah, maybe to some heroes, but i still think it's a waste of time, what you think?

yeah it kinda like,but some heroes need SnY even in pro level play.ive seen morph and Vs gets these in various caL leagues and even in some MYM tournaments.I used to equip Lina with these when i started playing,cause i though the command -ms was a cheat XD

your insane, its one of the cheapest easy to farm item that suites str and agi types. added agi, str, as, ms, life and maim what more coould you want. And its pretty easy to farm for 5k can be completed in like what lvl 11? its a great item, maim pawns!

erm... i'd rather get a buriza or something for agi heros.... what im trying to say is that you can spend your money better instead of doing such a crap thing =P

and no, im not that addicted(unlike some), actually im a newb and i don't even know what's a bd, i just think it's a useless item. just trying to improve my knowledge =D if im wrong then great, something to learn!

It really suits a handful of heroes, after that it's nothing great on the rest. Barathrum happens to be one of them.

Ummmmmmm.... just a question why is this comment not in the "items" forum..

but NO i do not think that sny is a noob item...well for the most part..

like for some heros it is just core (spirit breaker, gondar?, chaos knight)
but yea i do think that some noobs do use it if they dont know what to get..

S&Y is perfect for some heroes, maybe the heroes you use have orb effects.. lolz!! hahaha... anyway, S&Y is a great item...

i think s&y is the one of the most flexible and cheapest to build items...
ok before i get flak by saying its cheap i'll explain myself... its 5k all in all but the pieces of this thing is very cheap you can assemble this thing even if your getting killed and on a tight leash... the agi str speed and maim works wonders if your using it with the right hero...

noob item? i think not...

I think the right thing to say is that SnY is good for newbies or noob-friendly not a "noob item". Coz when you are a begginer, you don't know what item suits the specific hero. Newbies always pick Agi heroes, and SnY can be used by "almost" all agi heroes but not all. So SnY is like a macro item for everbody and for new dota players..

im with ianzin on this one.. s and y is good on only some heros. like baranthium. but most of the time you can go for something soo much better like butterfly or a heart or buriza.

SnY gives so much benefit.

10% Main, when equipped with a high ASPD hero, it will give you an easy time with chasing.

Added MS makes you fast to retreat.

I think this is a must for most AGILITY heroes, you'll get Agility which means ASPD and damage and most of all you get STR for HP rather than building a Vanguard that will just slow down your Item Build.
