Quitters.. grr...

Ok, I'm sure some of you here in DS play GG client right? My main problem is dealing with quitters. Quitters are those annoying people who quit when you first blood them or they die to neutrals, their losing, etc. This is really annoying and frustrating. How do you guys deal with this??

What can you do?
Tell the others that the player have been banned, and tell them to stay!
A good line is: "Stay in game, or stay on Banlist forever!"

from what i know, u cant ban some1 in GG unless they hack. quitters are something you cannot prevent, but you can avoid the with a list. when i play realm i always have my banlist

I notice GG client is more lag free but still there are more leavers than in bnet and blueserver. That is the main problem. They give up too easy. I even stayed 1 on 5 once 0.0 ..my entire team left =p

Quitters make me want to just bash the screen. I mean it's only a game! If you play to win, then don't play at all!

One of the situations I hate the most is when one of your opponents leave when he has a lot of money and decent items, then his teammates just get richer and get items faster, they start to pawn your team, etc.

The other is when an ally whom we depend on leaves, and the other team ends up owning us.

GGC has a lot more leavers. And in my experience the game also takes about twice as long to start. I literally uninstalled GGC, sick of it...

Well, it really depends on the day... Sometimes, you can have like 6 games in a row that never ended because of a freaking leaver...
But then again, sometimes you don't even see one... It depends...
But generally, if you want to avoid a game with a leaver, try to analize the comments he makes... If he starts spamming stupid, try to tell the host to kick him before you start, those will usually leave after they get killed more than once... If he is a little too aggressive, then there's also a high chance he'll leave somewhere in the game...

Actually, if you're playing to win, you should stay when being killed fast and/or more than once.

That's where you learn the most about your heros weakness and strength.

I've had games where i went from like 0-4 to 8-4 or better and won with the team. I even consider that some of my most entertaining matches. Nothing beats the feeling of being underdog and winning.

i love GG-Client, but i hate those f***** leavers as u do. Ruins a game....

But i dont think that there r more leavers then on normal battlenet. It's indeed more difficult to find a game, but imo it is worth waiting 5-10 mins for a game w/o lags/leavers...
