Posted: Thu Oct 26, 2006 3:29 amBrona was a well-respected and feared warrior of the Sentinel, but he was one without life, without purpose. He fought because it was all he knew how to do. He suffered so much in his past, that many people of the Sentinel thought him insane. Many made fun of him when he was young, and even tortured him. His rage built, and he became a dangerous man. One day, he began killing those who haunted him in the past. Because of this, Brona was exiled from the Sentinel. Filled with even more anger, he affiliated himself with the Scourge, hoping to unleash his wrath and share his suffering to the people that destroyed his life...

Hero Skills
Redemption - Active
The Martyr has suffered for so long, that he has developed a lust for human flesh and magic. When Activated, Brona glows in a purple light, giving increased attack speed, life steal, and mana steal, for 10 seconds. 20 second cooldown.
1st Level - 7.5% Increased Attack Speed, Lifesteal, Mana Steal, 70 Mana
2nd Level - 15% Increased Attack Speed, Lifesteal, Mana Steal, 90 Mana
3rd Level - 22.5% Increased Attack Speed, Lifesteal, Mana Steal, 110 Mana
4th Level - 30% Increased Attack speed, Lifesteal, Mana Steal, 130 Mana
Damage Split - Passive
Brona has too much pain inside of him. When he is attacked he hopes that his enemy feels as much pain as he does. Grants a Chance that the Martyr will block a portion of the damage inflicted on him, and that poriton will be returned to the attacker. Includes both Physical and Magic attacks. Will not affect enemies if their health is below 20%
1st Level - 5% Chance of 50% damage resistance & damage return
2nd Level - 10% Chance of 50% damage resistance & damage return
3rd Level - 15% Chance of 50% damage resistance & damage return
4th Level - 20% Chance of 50% damage resistance & damage return.
*For example: An enemy attacks Brona, dealing 100 damage. If Brona's damage split comes into play, Brona will take 50 damage and the other 50 damage is returned to the attacker. If Lina Inverse Laguna Blade's Brona for 950, and Damage Split comes into play, Brona will take 425 and Lina will take 425. Vanguard has a chance to block 35 damage, so wearing vanguard will reduce damage, but also reduce damage return*.
Insane Fury - Passive
For every kill Brona makes, he becomes more furious and addicted to his lust of killing.
1st Level - 0.03 agility increase for creeps per kill, 0.3 for Heroes
2nd Level - 0.06 agility increase for creeps per kill, 0.6 for Heroes
3rd Level - 0.09 agility increase for creeps per kill, 0.9 for Heroes
4th Level - 0.12 agility increase for creeps per kill, 1.2 for Heroes
Ultimate Skill - Soul Vengeance - Passive
Whenever an enemy attacks Brona, the Martyr creates a soul Bond with that enemy. If Brona dies while the bond is in place, he will try to take the enemy down with him as he dies. The Bond will remain until another enemy strikes the martyr.
1st Level - 300 damage upon death, revival time reduced by 5 seconds.
2nd Level - 500 damage upon death, revival time reduced by 10 seconds
3rd Level - 700 damage upon death, revival time reduced by 20 seconds
*The last enemy that attacks the Martyr will be bonded. Regardless of range, if the Martyr dies, the bonded soul will be damaged as well (That includes Zeus if he uses Thundergod's Wrath). If Aegis of the Immortal is worn, Soul Vengeance will still be in effect.*
I decided that Soul Corruption is too cheap an Ultimate, so, since this guy's a Martyr, Soul Vengeance will have to do...I'll think about Soul Corruption later...until then, can u guys also suggest anything for my Elementalist?

1st skill is too powerful it's like having feedbak +lifesteal+frenzy in one cast(this is overkill)
2nd skill: 50% is too big
the 3rd skill can be categorized as an ulti(but IMBA)
if the eney has 17 manna point left and he use soul corruption it while his life is still 2000 this will be an instant kill...
(correct me in my assumption please...)
4th skill... like the concept but... can you decrease the damagedue to revival time decrease...
i lke the mana steal concept too..
stat gain total must be 6.2...
i'll review it again so nerfed it a little bit but the concept is really nice though...

Skills:
1. Best way to balance this would be 7.5/15/22.5/30% for all bonuses. 30%IAS, Lifesteal and Manasteal.
2. Fine with me. Dispersion variant. No problem in percentage or return damage.
3. This skill would make a good ulti, bad for a normal skill. The concept is good. Hoses enemies similar to mana void, where low mana=death. Also hurts the occasional bradwarden if it's a kill in 10 seconds. Mana cost, range needed.
4. You can actually switch this with your 3rd skill. Make it 100/250/450/700 and revival time reduction by 3/6/9/12 seconds.
Stats: Below average stat gains. Might justify for the good AGI gains and mana stealing. Hp/mana recalc:
Hp=150+(15*19)=435
Mana=12*13=156
Slightly lower base damage(high AGI gains). MS is fine.
Flavor. Naix+Axe+Antimage. Thin, fast attack with benefits, punishes attackers, punishes low mana.
Overall: Switch 3rd and 4th skills, and we're almost all set. Tweak around to see what values work. Concept is good. Skills are okay.

Actually, about the 3rd skill..if he has 17 mana left (which is unlikely) and 2000 HP left, if Soul Corruption is cast...he'll have 17 HP left...iz kinda like Sunder...but on the character itself. Ghouls and Treants don't have mana, so they will die instantly if Soul Corrupted.
Equalized the 1st skill a little...
2nd skill has been deduced...eh..just give the guy blade mail or Mask of Madness so that he takes more damage hehehe...
3rd Skill, i still need sum suggesstions...
4th skill has been deduced down to 700 damage...don't wanna make it too low or this skill is useless...
This guy's a little complex for me...I just made him after reading a book, so start sending some suggesstions...

Actually, 50% return is fine, but place the dispersion limiter as well. Dispersion nulls all damage and returns all damage, so the 2nd skill isn't imba.
I still suggest a 30% on all bonuses of 1st skill at lvl4. Not too evil since character has no slow, blink or stun.

why don't try creating another skill to replace the 3rd skill the reserved it for your other heroes as ulti? (if you're gonna make another one)

"The cannot deal more damge than remaining HP" clause that dispersion has.
