Example: You are playing as Mirana. You gank an enemy, he survives your arrow+starfall combo and is running away, you are close behind. His health is low enough to die to starfall/arrow, which have just cooled down, but not enough to get killed by a few attacks. He is well in range, delay any sooner and he'll either have backup or get away. Suddenly, an ally tells you to use your ulti to hide him, since he has also been ganked. You only have enough mana to use only one of either skill. Your mana source(Arcane/Bottle) is depleted and your mana regen won't be enough. What would you do?

Simpler example: You are Skeleton King. After a clash, an enemy is TP-ing away while another enemy chases an ally that's low on health. You only have enough mana to use Hellfire Blast once, and no way of getting more mana. Will you stun the enemy escaping or the one chasing your ally?

If the ally needs late game items faster and sooner than me like FV, I would cloak him and for the second I would stun the chasing enemy. If it is crucial to kill the dude cos he is really fat I would do it but its usually better to save a friend. You never know when you might need HIS help.

it depends on a situation... if the killing will let your team win.. i'll go for the kill.. if not i'll save my ally...

Saving is the way to go. U stun the enemy ur friend can run away or u can stun and ur friend starts hitting its chaser.2 on 1 and hell die especially if ur friend slows or stuns.(4 leoric)

Killing is the way to go. Chase and kill. then go back 2 ur friend he would still be living. attack ur enemy and ur friend might die but enemy would be at a quarter hp.so another kill.(4 mirana)

IF FACELESS VOID WAS RUNNING Away FROM ENEMY HE CAN RUN EASILY USING LVL 1 TIME WALK SO DONT BE CRAZY AMPLIRAGE. HE WOULD HAVE MANA CUZ HE WOULD ONLY NEED TO USE Chronosphere AND MAYBE NOT EVEN THAT> SO DONT SAY THINGS U DONT KNOW

If it was our carry that needed help, I'd save him. Otherwise I'd probably go for the frag
It all depends on the game and the heroes ofc.

if playing pub

and Would save ally or get kill if their hero is carry
if playing organized games

as what they say it depends on the situation, if my ally doesnt have any chance to survive i'd have to save him... though if hero that im able to kill is a lategamer or at megakill or godlike streak id apologize to my ally, cause IMO its more important to stop a dominating opponent, plus if my opponent has a higher level than my ally if killed him, my ally would be revived much faster making a little time to be ahead and set up a push or defence or gank...

It realy depends on the ally and his situation in the game, If he is in a bad situation or have a mega kill or above streak i will help him indeed. But if he is in normal situation and his death will not affect us i will go for a kill especially if the opposing enemy is a late game hero or have a mega or above streak

Well, it's always situations like these where people find it hard to make decisions and then result in ur ally dies and the enemy escapes because you cannot push the right button at the right time.

I'd rather save my friend, because like what the example said, I can stun the enemy chasing my ally and then kill him, right? =)

i will always help my ally..imagine this..if you will choose to kill the enemy, you will encounter some problems...

1. when you choose to chase him, you are sure to reach their base which is a big disadvantage...
2. a lot of times i saw a chase that has a different outcome..you're so focused in chasing the enemy, you might be diasabled by his skill and before you know it you are being pounded by his allies..

and also i would choose to save my ally because ig i will kill the enemy, 2 persons wil get angry at me..your ally and your enemy..but if you choose to save your ally,your ally will be happy...^^


but it depends really on what hero your ally use..for example he is using dazzle or he has an aegis, then i would kill the enemy
