Just so everybody knows.

Occasionally, some of you like to watch dota videos on youtube(like me). Sometimes you'd see a very good Pudge or Mirana user. You're like, :O. You look at the bottom left of the screen and the whole map is a bright green(or white and blue on -terrainsnow). Wait a minute, isn't the map supposed to be darker, how come he sees into the enemy base so early in the game?

The less informed/weaker minded/oblivious/envious might go: OMG maphack you're super noob you should go to hell and kiss my grandma's ass.

Well, I say to you: That is not maphack. It's called a replay, noob. It's a recording of the game played by the one who posted the video, containing a lot of ownage moments which I know you never had. It is possible to remove the fog of war in a replay, since it won't matter, what's done is done. Look at the bottom-right of the screen. If it had been the actual game, why the hell are the hero skill icons replaced with some of the symbols you see on a DVD player?



On a side note: Want to post your "Greatest Moments","L337 Moves" or "Pro Skill" on YouTube?
-After the game containing a clip you want to include, save the replay.
-Sign up for an account on YouTube. It's free.
-Download Fraps or a similar program so you can record the replay. Instructions should come along with the program on how to use it.
-Edit the video with Windows Movie Maker or a similar program. Remember to save it.
-Upload it to YouTube.
The same process should work on other video hosting sites.

they say those 'pro' pudge and mirana players hack because they just hook blindly into the fog at heros they had no idea where the hell they were.

*NOTE* this is an example i dont actually hack or anything

like say im in mid sentinel and i suddenly hook upwards at the secret shop and own someone. i am pro because i knew a guy was going to be there? no i hack because i saw him standing there waiting to blink in.

the one who made the replay or the other one saying that the replay is a maphack (but he doesn't even know what a replay is)

people assume its hack or maphack becasue they havnt seen the full footage of the replay only the section where they kill.

I guess it's just the same with the thing I have my reaction with map hack.

It's a big, humorous, hilarious, ridiculous and dirty cheat I ever criticize.
You see that the World Editor of War3 frozen throne was a powerful tool of cheating.

If he's an elite map editor, he can change a lot there.

I remember the game my friend had Mirana. He killed Razor by shooting an arrow where he was running to, and it killed him. Of course he screamed for Maphack, and my friend said "I don't use maphack, i use the Arrow Hack, it makes Elune's Arrow an homing missile and you can't dodge it".
Well, Razor believed it, and left the game after saying "You just said you hack, i don't see the point in playing this game anymore if i'm against an hacker"

Best lolwut game ever.

/Agree.. even if a person was using a map hack, it wouldn't show up in the replay.
