Best Item build, spells for Invoker?

I recently started playing the invoker. This dudes gotta lotta spells but his mana pool is pathetic, and so is his speed!

I started out with this item build:

>Boots of Speed

>At level 5, get Boots of Travel

>Guinsoo Scythe of vyse.(yeah, get all the component items, and then you get the item) This is to ensure good mana, so I can start spamming meteroid, Wall of Ice.

>............This is late game. The game gets over by the time I reach level 15... I wouldve won, or the opponent. It always ends in 15 or 16th level with invoker!



Spells:

> early game: meteroid for farming, ghost walk as an escape mechanism!

> mid game : Meteroid, Wall of ice (cause they'r tryin to break into your base)


Spell Combos I use:

> wall of ice, meteroid (enemies are stuck, taking dps, and then I use meteor...Fire n Ice! )

> Deafening Blast, Meteor (theres an enemy running low on health, so deafening blast acts like a disable, and then meteor acts as a hero pwner )

> Deafening Blast, Ghost walk (there are 2 heroes after you.first use deafening blast, then use ghost walk to turn invisible and walk away! )

There is a really good guide on Kael that came out a while ago... you should try reading that...

And no, I don't see any reason why they are able to see you... unless they have wards/gem/truesight...

yeah, I read the guide... THATS when I started playing him.

But I was up against Lich, rikimaru, gondar and mortred. I used to use ghost walk whenever I was in a bad situation, but still rikimaru would pwn me(it only happened twice). I had a gem of true sight, and rikimaru didnt. I checked! The second time I got pwned, I was near the second tower near my sentinel base on the middle lane... I dont see how he couldve seen me!

a little thing known as wards.
also the possibility of lich having necronomicon.
but the most likely thing is that you were tracked by gondor.

Read the guide more thoroughly and you will see very obvious combos listed. Unless thats the other one that hasn't been posted...

Because you are obviously lazy (or you could prove me wrong), I advise you to get Deafening Blast and Chaos Meteor skills at level ten. Aim Meteor, cast Blast when the Meteor hits the ground, everyone in the AOE gets pushed through the Meteor and takes massive damage. And get some Bracers before Boots of Travel, that is silly.

1.bot

2.orchid

3.guinsoo

4.shivas gurad

5.dagon

6.eos

u only need 2 spells for invoker which r meteor n deafening blast

What they've said, also if you wait a bit, another really good Kael guide will be coming out. In depth and it covers a dps/battle style Kael that Moon_Raven's guide doesn't cover.

For that battleinvoke he should get eos/styg, buriza, maybe an mkb, and use alacrity, cold snap, ice wall, and ghost walk.
So basiclly, max quas and wex first
