Arcanite - Paladin
Range: 120 | Move Speed: 295
Primary: STR
Str: 22 + 2.4 | Agi: 16 + 1.0 | Int: 22 + 1.8
Damage: 45 - 75 | HP: 568 | Mana: 286
HP Regen: 0.91 | Mana Regen: 0.89
Attack Speed: 1.2 | Armor: 2.5

Every paladin has to master 4 special seals to become a master paladin. Arcanite is one of the few paladins which have mastered all 4 seals. The Seal of Light gives him such power to paralyse enemies. The Seal of Fury gives him furious strenght to destroy all shadowspawns. The Seal of Darkness burns all who dare to tread to near him. With these 4 seals together he is invincible.



Seal of Light(Passive)
Arcanite has mastered to control the enchantments gained by light. These enchantments not only benefit allies but also can paralyse enemies as Arcanite attacks.
Level 1 - 5% chance to stun for 1 second dealing bonus damage equal to your strenght.
Level 2 - 10% chance to stun for 1 second dealing bonus damage equal to your strenght.
Level 3 - 15% chance to stun for 1 second dealing bonus damage equal to your strenght.
Level 4 - 20% chance to stun for 1 second dealing bonus damage equal to your strenght.
Passive
Mana Cost: N/A
Cooldown: N/A
Framework: A normal bash.
Notes: The bonus damage is equal to Arcanite's strenght.



Seal of Darkness(Autocast) (r)
The Seal of Darkness is a hard seal to master because you need to be like a undead being. Paladins must master all arts even darkness to become a master, humors say that darkness can benefit the paladins more than the other seals do. Adds a poison to your attack at the cost of your life essence.
Level 1 - Poison deals 2 damage per second and slows by 10%. Deals 5 damage to self.
Level 2 - Poison deals 4 damage per second and slows by 20%. Deals 10 damage to self.
Level 3 - Poison deals 6 damage per second and slows by 30%. Deals 15 damage to self.
Level 4 - Poison deals 8 damage per second and slows by 40%. Deals 20 damage to self. Lasts 5 seconds.
Damage is stackable but slow isnt stackable.
Mana Cost: 0
Cooldown: 15
Notes: Deals damage to self like Huskar's attack and poisons like viper's attack.



Seal of Fury (f)
A deadly seal. Once activated the paladin goes into a frenzy giving him bonus attack speed and a 17% chance to do a double attack. Lasts 15 seconds.
Level 1 - 15% attack speed increase.
Level 2 - 30% attack speed increase.
Level 3 - 50% attack speed increase.
Level 4 - 70% attack speed increase.
Double attack means he has a 17% chance to deal double damage on an attack, if that attack was a bash then the bash will deal double bonus damage and double stun duration.
Mana Cost: 150
Cooldown: 30
Framework: Effects are like bloodlust.



Seal of Power (e)
The final seal and the hardest to master. This seal is capable of giving tremendous power. Passively increases all stats but can be activated to increase the effect of your other seals for 20 seconds.
Level 1 - +4 to all stats. Seal of Light's bonus damage becomes 120% of your strenght. Seal of Darkness's damage to self is reduced by 3. Seal of Fury's chance to do double attack is increased by 3%.
Level 2 - +7 to all stats. Seal of Light's bonus damage becomes 140% of your strenght. Seal of Darkness's damage to self is reduced by 6. Seal of Fury's chance to do double attack is increased by 6%.
Level 3 - +10 to all stats. Seal of Light's bonus damage becomes 160% of your strenght. Seal of Darkness's damage to self is reduced by 9. Seal of Fury's chance to do double attack is increased by 9%.
Level 4 - N/A

Mana Cost: 250
Cooldown: 60/50/40
Framework: When activated, a yellow circle apears above arcanite for the duration. The circle is like divine shield.



Discussion:

Hero Looks
Arcanite - Paladin looks like a normal paladin with a white beard.

About the Skills
Seal of Fury:

A basic increase in ASPD for a duration. Also while in the duration you have a 17% chance to do a attack that does double damage. If that attack was a bash of Seal of Light then double stun duration and double bonus damage.

Seal of Light:

Simple Bash Effect, the bonus damage is equal to your strenght.

Seal of Darkness:

Autocast. Like huskar's burning spear with a slow. Decreases hp instead of mana with each shotfield.

Seal of Power:

Gives a bonus to stats like attribute bonus, but also is clickable. Once activated it will increase the effect of your other seals for a duration.

Skill Synergies


Seal of Fury + Seal of Light

Permabash effect.



Seal of Fury + Seal of Darkness

Easy stacking your poison.



Permabash with dps, also Seal of Power will give your skills more effect, and increases your strenght which will increase your Seal of Light bonus damage.

Items
Cranium Basher : Buy 2 of these for permabash.

Heart of Tarraque: Increases your strenght which will increase bonus damage of bash.

Buriza do Kyanon: Whacking with imba ASPD critical will be common with permabash and critical you shall own.

Divine Rapier: Buy this if your not dying. Who likes someone whacking at him with 350 dmg at 75 IAS anyway?

Satanic: Critical, Permabash and lifesteal, you shall be immortal.


Hard Enemies to defeat


Disablers, stunners. They can kill you before you get close to them. But you can counter that by blink dagger. Silencers can silence you, you cant use Seal of Fury rendering yourself vulnerable.

Easy enemies to defeat


Low hp int/agi heroes. Easy to kill since they dont have stun, disable nor silence, nor permabash.

Fear Him!


Void. Not that much to fear. But he can permabash like you. It depends on who bashed first. Also even if you did the first bash on him, he may dodge it by Backtrack.

1.skill: Little to imba imo... Decrease stun duraton a little :P
2.skill: ahh...reminds me of old naiz =) I think its fine.
3.skill its ok, but increase manacost so that it wont be abused..
4.skill why not decrease the bonus it gives and make it passive? But it is nice anyway =)

ok well in general this hero is balanced, my only problem is the actual concept behind it...
seals don't work like that.. but still i won't complain, its balanced and reasonable

well generally a seal would be a marking, generally ring and it is used to seal something...

think of techies stasis traps as a seal that suns people, when they go in they don't come out until the break the seal (the stun wears out)

OHHH...... i thought seals are the things used for summoning creatures(got the thought from Diablo II, the part where we have to open 3 seals to summon diablo)

you also have steal like that, there were 3 seals that bound diablo to somewhere else, you broke the seals, diablo broke free.
