Dota Interface?

Dota Interface?

Okay, so I've been playing dota for about 3 days now. And I just checked out Youtube for anything that will improve my playing. And I saw that these players have a different interface on the right hand side of the "menu panel". Could someone shed light on this situation?

what he means is that how come on the right side of the interface
u know the 1 for skills,move,atk etc etc is diff
and the answer is
REPLAY!

What was special bout the interface? I mean, firstly, the replay has no game interface, only replay options like 'play' 'pause' and such. Guess thats what you saw :P

lol... the interface on the right when viewing replays contains the replay controls. That's how people make DotA videos for YouTube - they save the replay of games and then record the REPLAY so that they can edit it for YouTube.

But do yourself a favour, don't try to learn from YouTube videos - if you want to learn by watching people then download some pro relpays instead and watch those. It even better coz then you can watch a different player (and therefore different character) each time you watch it. There are some here but they're all played on 6.48 which is the current league stable map. If you want to see pro replays with the latest map then go to http://www.gosugamers.net/dota and click on the "Replays" links. They just covered the Dream Hack tournament recently and there are tons of 6.52c replays to download. Includes teams like MYM, SK, Ks, TeG, etc.

Yea, the Youtube things are just for laughs really. They aren't particularly instructive. ON THE OTHER HAND, the pro replays only make sense to people who know whats going on, so that might not help much either.

True about the pro replays. I suppose he would first need to learn the basics for himself and then check those out. I like watching those though - it's like watching a movie sometimes.
