Starcraft 2 DotA?

just thinkin about it starcraft 2 and thought hey mabye with the new map editor, could starcraft 2 possibly have a DotA map?

They probably will make one. I heard that a game designer was actually making an individual dota game, not related in any way to warcraft. So if that comes out it would be wicked.

Starcraft has an AoS map which is basically where DotA came from. So Starcraft
2 is gonna have something like it probably.. But wouldn't the individual game be a basic rip off just saying =3.

As G2H said, DotA practically spawned off the original Star Craft custom map called Aeon of Strife. So it's very likely that one will be made for SC2... I'm quite excited

it will probably take atleast half a year to a year though before any good balenced map will come out for starcraft2.

I am not sure if SC2 will have a dota map because SC1 didn't have heroes who can obtain EXP and items like in WC3, and there is nothing in SC2 press releases that suggest they would put this feature in. Of course there is nothing to suggest the opposite either, but WC3 heroes is what differentiates it from SC and I don't think blizzard would want to make two games that are too similar to each other.
