1.24 Bug

I just got 1.24 Warcraft version switcher and I used it to go to 1.24. But now whenever i go in a game i have to d/l it. Even if I have the game (namely DotA 6.61c). When my d/l goes to 99% i am automatically booted from the game. I've tried it 4 times and the samething happens all the time...anyone else have it and knows how to solve it? Sad

Try:

1. Reinstalling the full patch.

2. Reinstalling the version switcher.

You could just be very unlucky with internet connection or stupid kick-for-fun hosts.

At any rate, it's not a bug with the 1.24 patch itself =).

I just played a vampire slayer game so your right. It's not 1.24 thats bugging out...mabye its dota 6.61c? I dont think so cause other people can play it...

Edit: I just tried joining a normal game of warcraft... guess what? bug happend again...it wasnt even a custom map... migrees says its not 1.24 problem... i dont know why its not working anymore

i know ur pain....
you got the switcher off the dota site right...
all you have to do is log on to b.net and it will upgrade so you can play i have no idea why this is just what worked for me.hope it works for you

no im talking about the warcraft version switcher that lets you switch between 1.23 and 1.24 freely... and im playing on a gg server...

YAY! I got it to work! 1 BIG problem though... the way I got it to work is by getting Warcraft version 1.24a... guess i have to wait until everyone else has it...

version a is the actual version the version switcher was given the beta 1.24 thus is slightly behind i had the same problem Smile

hmm..

I dunno about the topic, but I can solve tecie_lover's problem..

You just need to go onto BNet, upgrade, then you need to save your version of Warcraft on the Version Switcher. That way, when you need to switch back from 1.23 back to 1.24, you just use the Version that YOU saved.
