Radikos - Warlord of Doom
Posted: Sun Jan 07, 2007 2:24 pmHi this is a hero i created with the Hero Builder. Its been taking quite some time for it to get replies from the mods so i thought i might just ask the others for response. Please rate it with care and read properly.
Radikos - Warlord of Doom
Range: 135 | Move Speed: 310
Primary: STR
Str: 24 + 2.5 | Agi: 18 + 2.0 | Int: 16 + 1.7
Damage: 46 - 58 | HP: 606 | Mana: 182
HP Regen: 0.97 | Mana Regen: 0.57
Attack Speed: 1.4 | Armor: 4
Radikos was once a follower of The Sentinel, but he perished in battle and was buried deep under the ground and ashes of the battlefield. After the battle the Lich King wandered over the battlefield and felt a strong desire to kill as he traveled near where Radikos had fallen. He had summoned him to fight, but what he saw was only half a skeleton. The Lich gathered many pieces, imbued them with power and attached them to Radikos. Radikos had received an immense power, he had also gained the ability to devour the souls of slain victims and thus he would only grow stronger and stronger. He was forced to fight for the Lich King in the battle against The Sentinel, at first he denied but the King decided that the only thing to do was to enslave him. Radikos had become a ruthless fighter that massacred everything in its path with his Sword of Souls. Survivors say he leaves a path of doom and destruction where he goes.
Devour Souls (S)
When walking through a battlefield of corpses Radikos regenerates health faster by automatically absorbing the souls. Range of corpses 275.
Level 1 - 2 health point per second.
Level 2 - 4 health points per second.
Level 3 - 6 health points per second
Level 4 - 8 health points per second
Passive
Mana Cost: N/A
Cooldown: N/A
Notes: More corpses does not lead to higher regeneration.
Bone Rain (I)
Radikos uses his power to make the bones of fallen fighters rise up so high in to the sky that they freeze, he then scatters them over an area dealing damage and slowing enemies. 400 AoE. Slow Duration is 4 seconds at all levels.
Level 1 - 75 damage, 25% movement speed slowed.
Level 2 - 125 damage, 30% movement speed slowed.
Level 3 - 175 damage, 35% movement speed slowed.
Level 4 - 225 damage, 40% movement speed slowed
Mana Cost: 90/115/140/165
Cooldown: 20 Seconds
Notes: The creep/hero killing spell. The damage for the creeps and the slow for the heroes.
Scatter Bones (O)
Radikos shatters his own bones letting them be carried by the wind to the destination he desires. Where when assembling the bones slice through enemies surrounding him. 200 AoE damage at destination. Units withing AoE are also stunned for 1 second and slowed for 4 seconds by 35%.
Level 1 - 100 damage at destination. 500 Range
Level 2 - 135 damage at destination. 550 Range
Level 3 - 170 damage at destination. 600 Range
Level 4 - 205 damage at destination. 650 Range
Mana Cost: 50/65/80/95
Cooldown: 15/13/11/9 Seconds
Notes: If ur following a hero and u cast this spell Radikos wont be carried to the hero but to the location where u clicked on the hero.
Framework: Radikos makes 5-10 illusions that are really small and they have invisibility to all units (including towers) and hugely increased speed, they dissapear at destination.
Soul Drain (D)
Radikos charges up to his enemy tossing everything aside and grabs his target's soul and attempts to destroy it. This immobilizes the enemy, and tries to destroy it. Dealing damage and weakening the enemy at the cost of some of his own life, resulting in weakness. Radikos gains 500% movement speed while charging at his enemy, he is also invulnerable.
Level 1 - Deals 300 damage to the enemy, 100 to himself. Slows both units by 25% and decreases enemy's armour by 4 for 4 seconds.
Level 2 - Deals 400 damage to the enemy, 150 to himself. Slows both units by 40% and decreases enemy's armour by 6 for 5 seconds.
Level 3 - Deals 500 damage to the enemy, 200 to himself. Slows both units by 55% and decreases enemy's armour by 8 for 6 seconds.
Mana Cost: 150/190/230
Cooldown: 70 Seconds

Well, im impressed with this...
Devour Souls: Redemption! hehe nice...maybe you can buff it to 2/4/6/8...
Bone Rain: Hehe, boney...damage is a little low for the high mana cost...maybe nerf the mana cost a little...
Scatter Bones: A Blink that damages...nice to pull off a surprise hehehe...
Soul Drain: This can be worse than Rupture...The slow afterwards affects both, but you got the Scatter Bones for escape. Nice balance for the Recoil.
Nice Hero Overall, good to try. Nice Sig btw...

I am just going to change the mana cost and the devour souls... Was kinda worried that it would be too high at first...
Since i am rather new to dota itself i have managed to play loads of other heroes against bots and players so i see that 400 dmg isnt that much for Souldrain. Thanks again

Devour souls:
Boosts regen un prescence of corpses. Needs buff. Increase healing to 2/4/6/8 but lower the AOE to 275 for balance.
Bone Rain: U guess the mana us payung for the AOE, but boost the damage a bit. 220 at Lvl 4 is fune. Needs slow duration(suggests 3.5 seconds).
Scatter Bones:
Bit inferior to waveform(damages enemies along the way). Add additional effect.
Soul Drain:
basically 522 MS on the way. Reduce the effect duration to 4/5/6 seconds. increase armor loss to 4/6/8.
Stats:
Subpar gains, skills don't justify subpar gains. Boost some(average is 6.2).
Overall: good synergy with double-edge slow+blink variant. Healing from corpses Is a bit detached in synergy, but good flavor. Chaser.
