Nidar and Vediri – the wanderer’s pets {Jan BC}

Nidar and Vediri – the wanderer’s pets

Story: A great wanderer was once rumoured to have lived in the forests of Ashenvale, befriended by a Lion and an Eagle. This man was the first true 'spirit ranger', and through longforgotten magic, he joined his mind with two pendants, and sacrificed his body to give his pets the gift of eternal life. Nidar and Vediri are, now and forever, the spirit of the wanderer.

FURTHER ULTI DETAIL:
-Regardless of which hero casts the ulti, both heroes will charge at each other at their current movespeeds, using the shortest path.
-Both heroes are still capable of being disabled in any way, but this will not stop the other hero from charging, and once the disable finishes, the hero resumes the charge.
-Regardless of disables and buffs, when the units meet, the gryphon is not disabled, nor has any buffs from the two heroes.
-If one of the two heroes is killed while charging, the charge is cancelled.
-The charge cannot be cancelled by the user once it has been cast.
-Beserker’s call will draw the hero to attack axe like normal, but the other hero can still meet it and fuse, and after the duration for call is up, the called hero will continue the charge.
-Upon fusion, the gryphon gains the primary attribute and the items of whichever hero used the fuse ability.
-The level of the gryphon is the combined total of both Nidar and Vediri.
-The gryphon gains the abilities levelled up by the individuals, with the first, second and third skills combining. The combined abilities contain the exact same damage/heal/buffs as the individual components, regardless of mismatched levels.
-Mana costs of the joined skills are 70% of Nidar’s skill + 70% of Vediri’s skill.

-Gryphon has attack range 600, Base movespeed 325, and skills are:

Spirit Aura
This skill is a combination of whatever level of Spirit Burn Nidar has and whatever level of Spirit Heal Vediri has (toggled on and off, not toggled to Nidar or Vediri)

Savagery and Sharpness
This skill is a combination of whatever level of Savagery of the Lion Nidar has and whatever level of Sharpness of the eagle Vediri has

Hide and wings of the true king
This skill is a combination of whatever level of Living Leather Nidar has and whatever level of Wings of the Sky King Vediri has

CHANGELOG:
-Added Icons
-Readjusted the crit for Wings of the Sky King
-Shifted the layout
-Added the stun component to the ulti
-Calculated HP&MP, and added in Armour

*facepalms* quantity vs quality *sigh*

anyway change the Living Leather description: either give bonus MS and change the 3rd skill of the eagle one or change the skill description

increase the change of crit occurance: 5% is a bit too low don't cha think?

my suggestion: the gryphon (or whatever its called) should have the pathing of the crow (ie able to pass by certain terrain) but then again it might be a little imba though,

Lazy good for nothings, read it...you might learn something..so what, it has no icons, it's a wall of text..read it, it won't kill you to do so...

Hero is awesome, might need some changes to some stuff, but a pretty cool one...this idea took some hard thinking, and for that, t-up!

@ Savagery and Sharpness: which comes first? The buff placer or the Damage?

Please make it tidier
PLEASE
It is rather plain, creativity < quantity...
It is not bad, but not excellent, imo
Sorry

it IS tidy.

First is the story, then I briefly explain that there are 2 heroes, which I then describe: Stats and skills; first Nidar, then Vediri. After the two heroes have been presented, I point for point (read 'neatly') explain the more complex interactions of the ultimate.

Everytime you say tidy, what you mean is SHORTER, just admit it.
Can i please get comments and feedback on the heroes, and not the layout?

Look at mine and maybe you'll understand what i mean
Logically 2 hero in early game is imba, although you need a pro to handle it, they can deal +80 dmg if they united their attack
If you compare it to LD, it is different, cus bear is SU
Or meepo? It is just the same, meepo clones dont have the full freedom to buy items
SO,what i want is damage reduction, skill simplifying (tidying)
Afterall, most ppl said it is untidy...

2 heroes in early game isn't imba, it's the exact opposite, what it gives you is half the starting gold (603 between 2 heroes now); Slower leveling as you lose your solo lane. It seems to me like the time when you are most vulnerable. Also note that Nidar hasn't got the skillset or stats to do any real form of harassing.

As for the layout, I'll tweak it tomorrow

@silentzero
The buff placer comes before the damage.

to make it more interesting, why don't you make the fusion of both creatures must require the same level. hence it is not as imba as others think, which need a lot of works in keeping the creatures to be leveled the same. just a suggestion here though. Alien

and do review on my hero also k. thnx in advance... Hopeful

Afterall, if vediri bought clarities and nidar bought potions, they can stay really long in a lane
Gryphon is not imba, look at their crappy stat growth
And, what about adding the gryphon skill effect? It will be easier to read
1a. Spirit burn AOE seems too big (beats ion shell)
1b. Why don't make it area? I never see a targetting toggle, and it won't work
2a. 2b. generic damage and slow
3a. 3b. Again, plain armor, mag.defense, ms and crit
Crit is very rarely on ranged units, better put it for nidar
After fusion, .it is easier to use,but what if each of them has 6 different items?
Btw,have u checked mine?

Chaos Throne:
1a) Spirit Burn is very heavy on Nidar's limited mana pool. even with clarities, he would never be able to abuse it.
1b) The heal isn't targetted, it has two seperate toggle switches (one heals Nidar, one heals Vediri, similar to Morph's Morph skill having two different auto cast buttons.)
2a&2b) A hero idea is about a combination of skills into a new hero, not every skill has to be unique to dota.
As for the crit, it stays with Vediri. Of the two, Nidar is the tank, Vediri is the dps.
