May is a month full of suspense for our community. This month, we will start posting guides of Dotactics 2009- one guide per week. Isn't it exciting?

To add more good news, we congratulate and rejoice with our Featured Guide of the month. There are two guides that received the GotM award of May, and they are:

Go Go Michael Jackson




Go Go Spontaneous Black Dot

Both awesome guides are created by our own Flodian. So this is rather a "Featured Guidemaker of the Month". Wanna know how or why did he win? Read this...

Valid reasons eh. The verdict is unanimous so let us accept things, have fun and force Flodian for a parteh!


The Interview

Ghost conducted the interview. Here it is...

F: lol now it works. xD
G: yay
F: ^^
G: am I your son or daughter?
F: Son Definitely
G: are you my mother or father?
F: Mother, GB is the mystery father
G: how long did it take you to make the guide?
F: Which one? xD
G: the guide of the month
Ghost has signed out
F: o.0 nooo... don't go

G: crashed of sorts
F: lol
G: but yes, how long did it take you to make the mortred guide?
F: It to0k about 2 weeks to make it. And another 3 week or so for editing.
G: is there anything you think you could improve in the guide?
F: The organization could have been a bit better. Also some information were missed, since as other compatible heroes and dagger giving sight.
G: did you ever feel like giving up?
F: Yes... many times. Due to the technical errors with the strategy buider. I had reinput this guide 3 different times...but in the end I prevailed
G: if you had to pick the good and bad points of your guide what would they be?
F: Good: It was short and to the point
Bad: Lacks organization and tid bits of info
G: we know you are going to make another guide, what is it?
F: Well... there is the Panda guide for Dotactics... but I'm currently taking a break from Guide making, and instead focuing on Sig making and my fanfic. ^_^ But maybe after 6.60 comes out, I may make a new guide.
G: so do you think you can win dotactics?
F: Hope is definitely there. Competing with the best, thats the fun part. Winning thats the challenge. I have tried my best, all I can do now is pary every night. ^_^
G: what is the first bit of advise you would give to a nub guide maker?
F: Write only what is needed, keep everything else in links and such. Also make sure your info is correct... there is nothing worse than wrong info. Check with other members first if you are unsure.
G: do you think a guide needs screenshots?
F: Definitely. A picture is worth a thousand words ^_^
G: so what does that make a replay?
F: replays that show how the hero is suppose to be played. Also fun tricks that can be done should be included.
G: ok mum, i have school now.
F: lol ^_^ Good luck son.
G: this will conclude the interview unless i get a chance to talk to you in an hour or so.
F: lol sure
G: I'm home mum!
G: is ignored -_-
G: interview over.
