Can't download the maps!

Ive downloaded the maps but i dont know where to extract it to. and stuff like that. ps i just bought dota yesterday.

i usually play at cafes

pls help

Just extract it into your War3 tft maps folder... Eg: C:/Warcraft III/Maps/

Yup, simply extract it to:
c:/program files/WarcraftIII/maps (usually)
Anyway you bought DotA? It can freely be downloaded from www.getdota.com

I bought the CDs to download warcraft III: ROC and Frozen throne expansion, i dont think you can download those

Dude, everyone bought ROC and the frozen throne... Its simple really... What exactly goes wrong? Is there an error message at all? Try www.dotaas.com/download.php

1] Download the map from a source.
2] Save it to the Maps folder of Warcraft. [C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\Maps]

Make sure you have at least version 1.20 for all DotA maps to work porperly

the problem is the maps are all in the folders. but when i go to Local Area Network and tries to create a game, it returns to the screen where u type ur player's name and stuff.

plus my frozen throne version is 1.07 i think.

extract the maps to your warcraft3 maps folder, maybe the warcraft version is the problem,

Thats it! frozen throne 1.07?????? Obviously you need to get a newer version... You can get updates from blizzard... Everyone I know play TFT v1.20e... Although I think there is a v1.21... But 1.20e works and everyone has it so we cant be bothered...
