seeing as i really haven't played much wc3 campaigns and stuff, i'd say the undead cause they got the imbahaxor frost wyrm. and they look cool.

i personally like undead and nightelf i like to rush bases early and those two make the fastest armies. orc armies take really long to build. but undead and nightelf are very frail to make up for their huge numbers. humans are very balanced out. im not really pro in WC3 so im hoping to learn something too

Agreed about nightelves, they sould spread fast. About the undead, it is possible, but I like more to rush lots of tier 1 and 2 units, and harass/kill early. For humans, Idk the best, but its very cool ( and sometimes very good ) to rush villagers, and make a militia attack on some nightelf for example..
About the orcs, no idea.

For humans

Someone once told me to just take Knights and Rifleman, and then Dragonhawk riders against air..Priests make excellent support for Knights, haven't yet figured out the role of a sorceress(Polimorf is mediocre at best).Footman are just early on, later knights are better choice and using Mortars.Dunno the role of Spell Braker, Tanks and those helicopters...

For Orcs

If orc base is protected long enough, orcs can be really tough to take down, since all have good survivability in battle..dunno how to play them though..

For Undead

I know that a combo of Necromancer's Unholy Rage and Frost Wyrms, with decent ground units can mean death..But dunno what to do bout the ground units...

For Night Elves

Fragile units but come in large numbers, with good air units, not some support, great for assaults..Dunno how to play them still..

If you want to learn fast, the fastest way is rly just to play. go to bnet and see what works out. rememb to watch replays by pros too to see what they use against what and so on..

When I would try to learn how to play I played against the insane AI and just copies their strategies. Seems to work against a good portion of the ladder peeps, just gotta beware of those nasty rushes!!

Insane AI gets 4x more resources than you do, so good luck Laughing

I think playing campaign is a good way to start, then do some 1v1 against easy AI and gradually increase the difficulty. Humans are pretty straight forward. Mountain King is a -bleep- beast

Well lots of good points on races here so I will talk on heroes:-

Humans have definitely the most diverse heroes, especially the alliance in WC3: Frozen throne.. These go well with the units which are easily the most diverse of all races. The Paladin is the strongest hero as long as you play him as a support and NEVER engage in battle- you need to just heal your units or make them invulnerable, and wait for the knights to die before casting your ulti. The mountain king is the opposite- you want him in the thick of the battle, so I always had a Paladin-Mountain King hero combo for the humans. But with the rise of the alliance, the blood mage is an incredible hero if handled well- he however needs to be supported as he is fragile himself.

Horde- No doubt about it, the blademaster is numero uno here. Some might argue that the far seer's wolves and his reveal help a lot but with the number of units you control those wolves dont help much in WC as in DOTA. The shadow shaman would be my 3rd choice because the Tauren Chieftain is a lot of support for not much offence imo.

Sentinels- Demon Hunter I always found to be more a solo hero and if you are up for ganking with him (which is very risky in WC3 btw), choose him. Else the damage + heal combo of PotM + Malfurion is a nice team tactic.

Undead- No questions here too, the Lich + Demon Hunter kick ass. The death knight is not as strong as you might think, and even the Nerubian King is stronger with his beetles.

I forgot to mention, there's a lot of tactics you can use to win a game, or give yourself an advantage. My favorite is the Archmage Mass Teleport abuse.

Once your Archmage is level 6, buy a shit load of Siege Tanks. Buy a sorceress and invis a knight and send him to your enemy's base. Mass Teleport your Archmage and Siege Tanks to your opponents base and rape everything in sight. By the time your enemies get back to defend, you'll have teleported away with a tp scroll.

Cool strats, thanks, i'll try them on..

But the hardest part for me is to know what to build and how...I know that humans can use Farms to block the towers from melee attacks, but that's just bout it.

Night Elf Dott Strategy FTW

DH, BM and Tinker as tanks. Few faerie dragons, Dotc and massed upgraded Dott. Rapes orc late-game.

Combination of those flesh typer siege weapons necros banshees and Abominations and frost wyrms work every time fo rme as with other races meh i just know boring counters dont play them much. The best undead for me is Lich+death knight. And death knight isn not as weak as he looks i admit i didnt like him early.
