hero guides

some simple suggestions to increase the level of guides here in ds:

1. all guides rated two stars and below must be reviewed by a committee of mods and trusted members. should the committee found that the guides lack important strategies, they should set a deadline for the guide writers to update their respective guides. if guide writers failed to update after the deadline, their guides must be removed.

2. comments like "cool guide" and "nice strat. i give you 10/10" should be considered as spam. these kind of comments does not help the community in any way. if posters want to express appreciation, just rate it 10/10, no need to post your rating. also, "mini-guide" posts should also be considered as spam and be deleted. although these mini-guides help the community, writing your own guide is a lot better. in conclusion, comments should only contain the one following:
1. questions about things not discussed in the guide
2. a skill build suggestion with the proper justifications
3. item build suggestions with proper justifications
4. suggestions that will further improve the guide

3. since my first suggestion needs more people, this is my last suggestion:
to create a strategy committee composed of knowledgeable members that will focus on improving the hero guides section

All your suggestions are good but it seems comments under the guide are not deletable. I 2nd yr 1st suggestion that outdated guides must be either updated, or (unfortunately) removed.

Why couldn't we put older guides in groups of the version of DotA they were created for? This way they wouldn't have to be deleted and people wouldn't get confused if they read an old guide that didn't make sense. Good ideas though!

majority of players play the recent version. only leagues use older versions since they only use stable versions. hence guides must be updated everytime a major change(heroes, items, general gameplay) that affects their respective heroes was made.
